(A) Book Review: The Book Review project will be done in a group of 5 students. Students can select book on various topics like Personality, Training and Development, Motivation, Leadership, Power & Politics, Conflict, Negotiation, Stress, Entrepreneurial (biography/autobiography). Students are suggested to select books which are short and value adding in management context. The book review assignment and presentation should be prepared on the following guidelines. Part 1: Books Details: Name of the book, name of the author, name of the publisher and place, and year of publication, number of pages and price of the book. Part 2: Book Summary: Summarize contents of the book. The summary of the book should help a reader get acquainted with the central theme of the book. Part 3: Critical Analysis and Learning: Participants will critically comment on the book using some OB framework. They must highlight their significant learning from the book. Selection of topic or title of the book is done on first come first basis. If a topic or title is allocated to the group then the group will have to select new topic or title. The book review assignment should be submitted between 15-20 pages and typed on a single side of A4 size paper with Times New Roman font and font size of 12 with 1.5 spacing. (B) Live Project & Presentation: The Film Analysis project will be done in a group of 5 students. The group has to compulsorily provide the Course Faculty with an Acceptance Letter from the organization on its letterhead, Contact Details of the Contact Person(s) as per the dates mentioned below. Visiting Card of the employees interviewed from organization has to be submitted compulsorily. If required the group can collect an Authority letter to be presented at the organization from the Course Faculty.

Students are required to identify an organization and make a personal visit. In their visit the students are suppose to carry out an indepth interview of 10 members in that organization.

Questions such as which motivations techniques are used by organization, supervisor employee interaction, reducing turnover in the organization, employee retaining strategies, frequency of training to the employee, parameters evaluating employee performance, strategies for dealing politicking, rating your employees compared to other organization in the same industry, etc. Part 1: Introduction of the organization Part 2: Transcript (all 10 questionnaires along with answers in typed form) Do not attach the questionnaire you have filled at company. Members should type the answers. Part 3: Data Interpretation and Analysis The live project assignment should be submitted between 15-20 pages and typed on a single side of A4 size paper with Times New Roman font size 12 with 1.5 spacing. (C) Film Analysis: The Film Analysis project will be done in a group of 5 students. The Film Analysis assignment and presentation should be prepared on the following guidelines:Part 1: Movie Details: Name of the movie, name of director/s, producer/s, name of actors, and year of release. Part 2: Movie Summary: Summarize the essential part of the movie during the presentation with the help of clippings. The clippings should be such that others can understand the central theme of the movie and the concepts of OB focused. Part 3: Critical Analysis and Learning: Participants will critically comment on the moive using some OB framework. They must highlight their significant learning from the movie. Selection of movie will be on first come first basis. If a group has selected one movie from the above list then the second group will select from the remaining. The Film Analysis assignment should be submitted between 15-20 pages and typed on a single side of A4 size paper with Times New Roman font and font size of 12 with 1.5 spacing. (D) Role Plays: The Role Plays will be done in a group of 5 students. Students can do the role plays covering various topics like Personality, Attitudes, Training and Development, Motivation, Leadership, Power & Politics, Conflict, Negotiation, Stress, etc. Part 1: As a part of the project, group has to prepare and submit a brief Write-up of the role play Part 2: Dialogue of each group member. Part 3: Describe important points covered in the role play The group can use any apparatus/properties/material during the role play but they should take prior permission from the Course Faculty. The Role play assignment should be submitted between 15-20 pages and typed on a single side of A4 size paper with Times New Roman font and font size of 12 with 1.5 spacing.
