Study of usage of steam in electroplating plant.

In electroplating plant, steam is used in different tanks for completion of process. Mainly used for increase the temperature of fluid containing in tank. In hero cycle followings are the tanks in which steam is used. Steam is used by two anodic cleaning in which steam is used to increase the temp. approximately 60-950C Steam is used in two semi bright nickel tank, TRI nickel tank and three bright nickel tank to increase temp. about 60-950C Steam is used by simple hot water during the last stage

Problem finding:Steam used in different stages of electroplating through pipes as shown in fig.

Steam from the main pipe goes in each needed tank through small pipes. There is two inlet and two outlet of steam in each tank After passing steam through tanks it will condense in to water and this condense steam comes in black pipe as shown in fig.

In this plant, after condensation steam comes in black pipe. this condense steam in form of water drained in sewers. We measure the temperature of that condense steam that is near about 700C There is no usage of this condensed water. There is other two electroplating plant in which the condense water goes to ETP plant where this hot condense water is recycled. but there is no recycling of hot condense water in plant no. 1

Review:- this hot condense water can be used for at the last stage of electroplating. At last
stage as define in flow chart use hot water. They retain the temp. of that tank near about 60950C. so this hot water can drain in that tank
