Operation step:
There are not effect with normal work when upgrade SMC, if upgrade interface slot, will effect single interface slot itself at short time, other interfaces slot will work in normal. Concrete upgrade flow is below: In this testing , interface slot 7 is primary slot, interface slot 8 is secondary slot).

Upgrade primary and secondary SMC software version.

1, check and record current version

Raisecom#show version slot 7-8

2, Save current configuration, and record information show running-config all.

Raisecom#write Saving current configuration.. Save current configuration successfully Raisecom# show running-config all

5, upgrade system software of interface slot 8.

Raisecom#download system-boot ftp 3.3.3.3 raisecom raisecom filename slot 8 Waiting.......Start 17 Getting source file from server ...Done Transmitting file to device...Size 3206K / 3206K Success!
6, reboot SMC slot 8

Raisecom#reboot slot 8 now

7, SMC slot 8 synchronization finished and check version, then to do forced switch to slot 7

Raisecom#show version slot 8 Raisecom(fttx)#nms forced-switch Raisecom(fttx)#nms forced-switch Are you sure to switch now?[yes]:yes Set successfully

9, upgrade system-boot of SMC slot 7 via slot 8.

10, Reboot SMC slot 7

Raisecom#reboot slot 7 now

11,SMC slot 7 synchronization finished and check version, then to do forced switch to slot 8

12, checkout configuration in slot 7

Raisecom# show running-config all

Notice: it is not recommended that upgrade SMC version 1.30 to V.120, if current network is running operation, because the configuration will be lost and lead to business cant running in normal, the V1.30 configuration cant be compatible with V1.20.

Upgrade PON card to new version

1, check PON card version

Raisecom#show version slot x~y

2, batch upgrade PON card.

Success!

3, reboot all PON card which be successful upgrade.

4, verify PON card version.

Upgrade ONU version to V1.30
