With Barfi in 2012, she made an amazing debut in bollywood and swept almost all the awards for the season. Her performances shined out even when strong actors like Ranbir and Priyanka were present in the film. We are taking about the lovely Ileana d Cruz who is always super confident and super hot. Ileana hails from, Andhra Pradesh but has done Telugu movies before she ventured in Hindi films. For her first film devadasu, in 2006, she won a film fare award too. She later appeared in many films like pokiri, kick, nanban, julayi. Some of her films have been huge financial success, including barfi. She is just 25 years old but the most expensive actress in south and paving her way with some really big projects in bollywood. She is a tough competition to the younger lot of actresses today. Ileana is charming and lissome and admits that she is a reluctant actor. With her performance in barfi, she became a sensation. Critics did not dare to ignore her, she was so good. Nobody made a negative remark with Ileanas performance. Her recently released film with Shahid, Phata Poster Nikla Hero also has got positive reviews and seems to be doing well enough. Apart from doing some great work in south, she has also starred ad commercials which earned her attention. And one of those was directed by Rakesh Roshan, which paved her way for films. She then became part of some great projects. Her film Shakti in 2011 is the costliest Telugu film ever made. She prefers doing commercial and glamorous roles, as opposed to serious performance oriented roles. In a recent interview she said that she does not feel she could do what VidYa Balan may be doing! These commercial roles are her forte. In barfi, she performed a serious role which made critics expect so much of her. Ileana says she gets frightened by doing serious roles as it is not what she thinks she can do. But we all know that is just the beginning. Ileana could be a great actress and can surely pull off any role with perfection. She is cited in the future lot of actresses today. And definitely she is here to stay. As a matter of fact, Ileana is the highest paid actress in south India even though some of her last films did not do well at the box office. In bollywood though she has a long way to go and make her place. Her recent release Phata Poster Nikla Hero with shahid is also on its way to become a success. Her other projects include a film called happy ending with Saif Ali Khan, another film with Akshay Kumar and a film called Main Tera Hero with Varun Dhawan. With such great films in her pipeline, Ileana has a great going and surely here to stay. Of course, her fans would like to see her doing varied roles that make her better and better with each film.
