The formats you will find on this page are compatible with all Vibrant Products. This means it doesnt matter whether you booked In-Text Video or Lightbox, the video formats apply for both. Also, here is material that helps us to support you in a better way.

Adobe Formats Vibrant Medias Creative Services Team works with Adobe Creative Cloud CS6. All open assets such as .innd, .fla, .psd, .ai (and so on) need to be compatible with CS6 or below. For any open format you provide, it is helpful if you send a full package including fonts and used objects. Logo Formats Especially for Brand Logos you can send us vectorized graphics such as .psd, .ai, .eps, .tiff. This way we can make the best use of your logo and guarantee the best quality. Of course, we also accept other formats like .gif and .png. Please understand that these lose quality if we need to resize them. The .jpeg/.jpg format can be used but will have a background color that might be competing with the advertisement. Graphics/Image Formats We accept all common graphics formats and open formats that are Adobe compatible. Some formats we accept: .png, .jpg/.jpeg, .gif, .eps, .psd, .ai, .tiff. Video Formats We accept most Video Formats such as .mov, .avi, .mpeg, .mp4, .flv and many more. Our Creative Services Team or Campaign Management Team is able to encode the format into any specific format a product needs. We appreciate if you send over the exact format mentioned in the individual specs. For example: mymovie.flv in 400x225 for Video Standard. YouTube Videos If you want to use YouTube Videos you can provide the YouTube ID or the link to your video. For example: http://www.youtube. com?v=55x7789s (The bold part is the YouTube ID). The video is not supposed to have any ad (e.g. Pre-Roll). Social Feeds Some of our units support social feeds. If not named differently we just need your social url or account. For example: http://www.facebook. com/mybrand (the bold part is your account name). Feeds need to be accessible without login and Vibrant will only display Account posts within ads. Formats/Versions If you provide .swf files to us these should be compiled for Flash Player 9 or lower to cover most users on the web. For more details, please read our Technical Specs. You can also provide open .fla documents. XML Formats Vibrants custom solution adverts often support XML formats. If you have a prepared XML please make sure it is xml 1.0. API Access Custom Solution ads can make use of your API. We can implement information from your open and accessible API if we can access it via URL. A request should return a JSON or XML Object. Font Formats If you provide open formats or want your font to be used within a custom creative, you may provide your font files to us. Brand Guidelines If you have official Brand Guidelines or a Brandbook that you can share with us, we will use this to arrange your assets in a way that goes along with these. We also will use fonts and colors for mockups and previews to reduce the overall effort for you. Reference Material Feel free to send over material you are using on other channels, such as print or television anything you can provide helps us to create the best ad experience.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Flash Specs Vibrant supports AS2 and AS3 Flash files in most of our units. Click-throughs should never be hard-coded. All 3rd-party Flash files must be click tag enabled so an external variable can be passed in defining the destination of all clicks. To do this: 1. Create a blank button on its own layer in the timeline so it appears above everything in the animation. Name this instance clickThroughButton. 2a. For AS2 .swf files, add this script to your actionscript:

Vibrant ignores the author-time background color of all .swf files, displaying them as transparent. This is because we set the parameter WMODE to transparent for better compatibility with our partners sites. In order for the background of your Flash creative to appear in the color of your choice, you will need to place a colored movie clip or shape on the bottom most layer of your Flash file that covers the full width and height of the stage. 3rd-party hosting of the Flash creative is not supported. Vibrant will host all creative on its CDN. If the Flash creative loads external assets, the asset paths must be absolute (not relative to the parent Flash file). Analytics All Vibrant In-Text Ad formats support click-tracking. Clients are encouraged to provide 3rd-party click tags for all click-through destinations. In addition, Vibrant tracks all clicks by routing them through our servers first before redirecting to supplied click tag. Most units require just one click tag. Some can optionally be set up with more than one click tag (for multiple buttons, or multiple hot spots). Vibrant also supports one impression tag. By request, Vibrant can run 3rd-party market research surveys from companies such as Dynamic Logic or Insight Express. Only standard tags are accepted. Stand alone JavaScript tags are also compatible. Iframe Specs Third-party rich media tags must be supplied in IFRAME format. JavaScript and/or ILAYER are not supported. Standard third-party tags (HREF & IMG SRC) should also be supplied for the delivery of backup .GIF or .JPG creative. Click-throughs should never be hard-coded. All iframes must be click tag enabled so an external variable can be passed in defining the destination of all clicks. Video Specs All Vibrant video units now utilize .mp4 video in order to be cross-platform and compatible across devices. If you are unable to supply your video asset in a go-live ready format, our Creative Services Team will be happy to assist you in converting your video into the optimal format. Please supply high-quality video in one of the following formats: .mp4, .m4v, .avi, .mpeg, .flv.
