This cozy quilt is a snap to make, and youll have fun (and feel thrifty!) using small pieces of favorite fabrics. The success of this design depends on strong value contrast, so sort your fabrics carefully into darks and lights.

assorted dark 3 square. Referring to Diagram I, place marked squared on assorted light 7 square, right sides together, aligning raw edges. Stitch on drawn line. Trim away and discard excess fabric; press open. Repeat on remaining corners to make Snowball Block. Make 66 total. In same manner, make 66 total blocks using light 3 squares and dark 7 squares.
