Circuit training is a form of body conditioning or resistance training using highintensity aerobics.

It targets strength building and muscular endurance. An exercise "circuit" is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program. When one circuit is complete, one begins the first exercise again for the next circuit. Traditionally, the time between exercises in circuit training is short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise.

Benefits of circuit training

Circuit training is an exercise routine that coalesce both cardiovascular fitness as well as resistance training.
1.All round body training. 2.Offers the advantages of personalized training. 3.Aids in developing fighting spirit. 4.Time efficient in nature. 5.Versatile kind of workout. 6.Helps to enhance metabolic rate. 7.Cost effective in nature.

Weight training is a common type of strength training for developing the strength and
size of skeletal muscles. It uses the weight force of gravity(in the form of weighted bars, dumbbells or weight stacks) to oppose the force generated by muscle through concentric or eccentric contraction. Weight training uses a variety of specialized equipment to target specific muscle groups and types of movement.

Frequency is the number of occurrences of a repeating event per unit time. It is also
referred to as temporal frequency, which emphasizes the contrast to spatial frequency and angular frequency. The period is the duration of one cycle in a repeating event, so the period is the reciprocal of the frequency.

High Intensity Training (HIT) is a form of strength training popularized in the

1970s by Arthur Jones, the founder of Nautilus. The training focuses on performing quality weight training repetitions to the point of momentary muscular failure. The training takes into account the number of repetitions, the amount of weight, and the amount of time the muscle is exposed to tension in order to maximize the amount of muscle fiber recruitment.
