GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: See Note 1 & Attachment 1 (Use PIPs) Vessel location and foundation were verified to conform with the coordinates and elevation in the plan drawing. Alignment of flange face of nozzles shall be within 1/2 degree of the specified plane. (PIP-VEFV1100/1102, Page 1, Note 7) Bolt holes are within 1/8" of the specified location. (PIP-VEFV1100/1102, Page 1, Note 28) VERTICAL VESSELS Vertical centerlines and base line of vertical vessel are punched and circled with paint. (VEFV1100/1102Page 1, Note 25) Orientation line for vertical vessels is based on a directional centerline (e.g.;North, South, etc.) and as referenced on the construction drawings. (VEFV1100/1102, Page 2) Distance of bottom of base support to the base line of vertical vessel shall be within the tolerance of +0 , -1/32" per foot of vessel diameter to a maximum of 1/2". (PIP-VEFV1100/1102, Pg 1, Note 12) Supports are level or are with in the following tolerances: + 1/8" or + 0.02" per foot of vessel diameter, but not to exceed 3/8". (PIP-VEFV1100/1102 Page 1, Note 26) Supports located are within the following tolerances: +0", -1/32" per foot of vessel diameter with max of 1/2". (VEFV1100/1102 Page 1, Note 13) HORIZONTAL VESSELS Orientation line for horizontal vessels is based on the vertical centerline. (PIP-VEFV1100/1102, Page 2) Centerlines (orientation lines) are punch marked and circled with paint. (PIP-VEFV1100/1102, Page 1, Note 25) Supports of horizontal vessel are located within the tolerance of +0", + 1/8" from the horizontal centerlines. (PIP-VEFV1100/1102, Page 1, Note 22) Supports are level or are with in the following tolerances: + 1/8" or + 0.02" per foot of vessel diameter, but not to exceed 3/8".
