My reading of the tablets is based on Boulots, AR 1994:69, and my own autopsy in the Museum of Prehistoric Thera. For the sealings, see CMS V Suppl. 3, nos. 391-401, 403-5 from D 18b (58 complete or almost complete sealings plus fragments of more) and 402 from D 18a found along with the tablets, all inside a bathtub; another sealing (unpublished) was found in trench 64 (south of Xeste 2; Praktika 1999, 189, pl. 121b-2) inside a wood box with a complete balance set of 2 bronze pans with pivot beam, a bronze ring, and two disc weights (lead and stone). All sealings seem to be of Knossian clay and all sealed small folded leather packages, except for 402, which was sealed a peg. All other documents seem to be of local clays.

a.1: *47-KU-NA-SA VINa theoretically possible. Let us say that a.1-7 & b.1 record contributions totaling 95+: a.1-7: 92J and b.1: 3 (brought over from ZA 4a.8?); it is probable that this 95+ is reapportioned in the KU-RO section b.2-3 as 78 + 17.

The pithos records "VIN 32," probably the volume, 32 units; if Mycenaean units (28.8 l), the volume would have been 921.6 l. Since the pithos stands about 170 cm high, the vase-capacity program ("Vase" by Gregory Christiana, copyright 1994) calculates its maximum volume from its profile as slightly over 1000 l.
