Launching & Receiving Barrels

Description
TDW designs and manufactures Pig Launchers and Receivers for pipelines of all sizes and pressure ratings for both gas and liquid service. Our standard design will accommodate most types, including displacement, batching and cleaning pigs. The TDW standard design is capable of launching one pig and receiving two pigs. Both Launchers and Receivers are equipped with TDW closures. All units are equipped with properly sized and located nozzles to allow the proper pig launching or pig receiving.

Features
TDW incorporates several important features in our standard Launchers and Receivers. Some of these are: TDW closures, threaded type on barrel sizes up to 10, and clamp-ring type on larger sizes A TDW PIG-SIG on all Receivers. An eccentric reducer on all Launchers to assure proper pig line up. Properly sized and located vent, gauge, drain, kicker or bypass nozzles. All welds are 100% inspected. Mill test certificates furnished. Designed to the ASME B31.4 or ASME B31.8 codes. All units are sandblasted and primer coated. Hydrostatically tested.

Purge connections Extreme temperatures and chemical applications In addition to Launchers and Receivers, TDW can provide complete launching and receiving systems which may include skidmounted support structure, valves, bypass piping, pig handling equipment, and batching, displacement, or cleaning pigs.
