f its September it must be Brew Ha Ha! We are looking forward to a typically sensational Saturday in LeClaire Park for tasting, games, and entertainment all with a very special purpose to help support your local public television station, WQPT. This November 3rd we will be celebrating 30 years as your PBS station. During that time we have seen so many changes in the media landscape, but through it all WQPT has continued to bring you great programming each and every day, and educational outreach to our areas children.

We are also celebrating two new local programs on our air Hola America, (Fridays at 6:30 pm) hosted by Natalie Zarowny. The show takes you on a weekly journey through the sights and sounds of the Hispanic community in the greater Quad Cities area. Plus, a limited run series Originals: from RME, (Saturdays at 10:30 pm) that features some of our areas musicians as they play their original music on the community stage of the River Music Experience. Your support through this event or by becoming a member of WQPT, makes all of this possible. THANK YOU!

Every year we try and bring you something new. This year we are delighted to welcome Johnson Brothers of Iowa. This family owned business founded in 1985, started in the Central Iowa Golden Circle and has expanded to cover all of Iowas 99 counties. They will be showcasing nine Breweries and 25 beers at Brew Ha Ha. Be sure to stop by and say hi to Johnson Brothers of Iowa.

The Blacklist Improv Comedy Troupe returns for another great year, helping to put the Ha Ha into Brew Ha Ha. They describe themselves as unscripted, uncensored and unbelievably funny! Every show features the areas most talented stand-up comics and ends with the signature improv stylings of the Blacklist. They will have you rolling in your seats with outrageous scenes, crazy games, and strange songs in order to get you to laugh 100 times! The laughter reigns from 2:30-3:15 pm.

Yeah we heard you and were happy to report that the silly and fun games are back! Brew Ha Ha isnt just about great beer. Its about the crazy games too! The games area has expanded and this year its guaranteed to be an even bigger hit. Your favorites - the growler hold and grand prize game - are returning. Come and see what else we have in store for you!

There will be a variety of food vendors to serve you. Big Dogs Hot Dogs Hungry for a Chicago Dog, Italian Sausage or Gyros? Stop by their stand for these favorites and more.
