Pre-Requisites
Save the Below folder on the Computer and UNZIP the folder motochopper.zip It can be downloaded from the following location
www.dropbox.com username: info4cem@gmail.com Password: infoNow Folder Path : Support -> Software
Make sure your phone is 60% charged Enable/Select the USB Debugging in Settings > Developer Option on your device before connecting your device to computer

USB Debugging
Follow below steps:1) Go to Settings -> About Device 2) Search Build number option 3) Tap 7 times on Build number
If you cannot find USB Debugging in Settings > Developer Option ,

Now you can see Developer Option in settings Enable USB Debugging Mode

Step 1 Install Drivers

Use USB Cable to connect your device to computer Let the device install its driver on your computer
If Not, Then Run .exe file of Samsung_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.14.0.exe It can be downloaded from the following location www.dropbox.com username: info4cem@gmail.com Password: infoNow Folder Path : Support -> Software Follow the Install Shield Wizard to finish the installation on your Computer

Step 2 Root the Samsung Galaxy S4

Extract the entire contents of motochopper.zip Double click the run.bat file inside the extracted folder and keep hitting enter to finish. Below Screens will be displayed, Press any key to continue

Rooting Continued
Make sure to Tap yes on your device Popup, Check on Always allow from this computer.

And your device will be rooted.

If you see SuperSU in your app drawer on the device, your device is rooted.

S4 I337UCUAMF3 Firmware Rooting

Check you Device Build version (Setting->About Device->Build Number) If the Build Number ends with MF3 ,You need to follow below Rooting Procedure.
Pre-Requisites :1) 2) 3) 4) 5)
Sd Card Sd card Reader Cable to connect card reader with laptop Root_for_ATTSG4_FM3.rar (Download it from Dropbox) Android Terminal Emulator app (Download it from Playstore)

Procedure:-
Pull out your device sd card Put your device sd card in sd card reader Connect sd card reader with Laptop using cable Go to My Computer on your laptop Right Click on Sd card Click on Format Select ExFAT on File System Click on Start Wait till Finish

Procedure
1) Download the attached file (Root_for_ATTSG4_FM3.rar) from Dropbox www.dropbox.com username: info4cem@gmail.com Password: infoNow Folder Path : Support -> Software 2) Extract and put it into the EXTERNAL microSD. (You can do the extraction using WinRAR or 7-zip). 3) Disconnect the Phone and Put the SD card back to the phone 4) Download the Android Terminal Emulator app from Playstore 5) Open the Terminal Emulator app and run below 3 commands: cd /mnt/extSdCard ./pwn ./script.sh

Step 4 - Verification
Install Root Checker App from Google Play on your device Tap on Verify Root Access
Tap on Agree in Terms and Conditions Pop-Up and then tap on Grant Access to SU on super-user Pop-Up If Rooting was successful screen on the right will appear

Root Indicator on ACT app
Make sure the device is rooted. The top bar notifies you if the device is rooted or not.
If device is not rooted, please follow the procedure above.

LTE Band Lock Feature

Steps for Band Locking only for LTE

Click on the BandLock Tab to perform Band Locking on LTE
Select the required band from the drop down menu.
Perform a manual reboot for locking the device to the required Band Click on Lock Band to lock the device to the required band.

Check that the device has been locked to the desired Band

Click on Release Band and manually restart to put the device on default band.
LTE TEST Execute, Monitor & Check Report

Make sure your device is Rooted
If device is not rooted, please refer to the rooting MoP, explained above.

Launch the application and Get the License
Click Get License to enter the application

Add and Load the Test

Select the respective test (Ericsson_EFNI_Ts.xml) to be executed and click LOAD
Click Add button to list all the available TESTs

Start the Test
Click START. Fill the SITE ID and USER ID. Select the technology you are testing and carrier
Click submit to execute

Monitor the test
List of Activities will comes which with individual status in front Click on the MONITOR Tab to see the execution of test

How to see the Test Report on Device for last Days test
To the right of SCHEDULER Tab, Click on the REPORT Tab to see the summary of report of last tested site
Click on Menu Button on Device to see the options.
Click on Technology to fetch your desired report

Report of following type should come up
Choose the type of report you want to fetch, depending upon the test you executed LTE or UMTS?
Report Tab will keep on listing all the results for the sites tested for the current day

UMTS Frequency Lock Feature

Steps for Frequency Locking only for UMTS

Click on FreqLock Tab to perform Frequency Locking FreqLock shows you current technology, cell ID and current frequency
Click on Lock Frequency and do a manual restart

Steps for Frequency Locking only for UMTS
The locked/requested frequency will be displayed after the restart
Click on unlock frequency to unlock the device and perform a manual restart

Lock a Handset to UMTS
Remove the Sim from the phone and switch on the phone without the sim card.
Dial *#2263# on the phone keypad to open the ServiceMode menu.

Out of all the available bands, select WCDMA Band Preference. Select the required Band or just select WCDMA ALL

Once the Band is selected, switch off the phone.
Put the Sim Card in and Restart the Phone. The phone is now locked to the selected band.

To Unlock the Band, select Automatic from the service mode menu.

What if on loading the Test in Scheduler Tab, it doesnt get listed? A. Restart the Device and then try scheduling the test. What if your device couldnt GET LICENSE? A. Click on CONTACT SUPPORT button to send the device details for registration What if you get a message on GETTING LICENSE Mobi-Reporters new version available!? A. You might have an incorrect version installed on your device for Mobi Reporter. Check administration to get the correct version What if you get a message on GETTING LICENSE mCEMAA Handys new version available!? A. You might have an incorrect version installed on your device for mCEMAA Handy. Check administration to get the correct version

What if on running the test you get a message Incorrect App version? A. Check the versions of both the applications and install the correct versions. How to check your devices IMEI and Versions installed in it? A. In mCEMAA Handy app, check the versions in DATA TAB to see MR Version and MRA Version. If you are not able to get into the mCEMAA Handy application. Check the version on the GET LICENSE page itself, right bottom corner. What if clicking on REPORT TAB shows No report available for last site? A. Your report must be getting processed at server end, Wait for a while and then refresh from the menu button while you are inside the report tab

What if on start of TS and filling user id/site id information, device gives error Technology mismatch A. Check the technology on the network bar below various tabs in the application and make sure you are selecting the same technology. Also make sure is that the same technology you want to perform your test What if on start of TS and filling user id/site id information, device gives error PSC/PCI mismatch A. The PSC or PCI you are entering must match with what device is receiving at the moment when you are starting your test. If it doesnt, you can check what PSC or PCI your device is ON, from the network bar below various tabs, and then start the test.
