Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (REACH) requirements: 11.1 All products supplied to Jaguar Land Rover shall comply with the requirements of REACH. 11.2 All Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC's) shall be communicated to Jaguar Land Rover (via IMDS for articles and via GMAP-e1291 for non-dimensional materials). 11.3 If an approved material contains substances that have reclassified risk phrases or hazard statements according to the Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP Regulation, 1272/2008), then re-approval via the GMAP-e1291process is required. Note that some environmental permits restrict the use of risk phrases R45, R46, R49, R60 and R61. Where reclassification identifies the presence of these risk phrases the Supplier must notify Jaguar Land Rover Environmental Compliance Department immediately (via email to sslocket@jaguarlandrover.com or gosulli1@jaguarlandrover.com). 11.4 All SVHC's that require authorisation according to Annex XIV shall not be permitted to be used in Jaguar Land Rover Products after the published sunset date.

12

Conflict Minerals 12.1 In order to comply with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing requirements, companies who supply products that contain "Conflict Minerals" (i.e. metals derived from columbite-tantalite (coltan), cassiterite (tin), gold, and wolframite (tungsten)) must have robust systems in place to ensure that they are not inadvertently supporting armed conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) or surrounding areas. For more information view United States H.R. 4173 "Conflict Minerals", section 1502 (http://www.sec.gov/about/laws/wallstreetreform-cpa.pdf). For non dimensional materials, as part of the Toxicology GMAP e-1291 process suppliers must declare whether their materials contain nanoscale components. Nanomaterials of interest are those which have structured components with at least one dimension less than 100 nm down to 1 nm. More details on nanomaterials can be found on the following web link: http://publications.jrc.ec.europa.eu/repository/bitstream/111111111/14270/1/jrc-refreportdefinition-nanomaterial-eur24403en.pdfl All Bio Feedstocks shall be sustainably and responsibly sourced. ELECTRONIC REPORTING OF ARTICLES USING THE INTERNATIONAL MATERIAL DATA SYSTEM (IMDS) IMDS Data is used to prove legal compliance. Suppliers are responsible for the accuracy of the data that they provide. All articles (including those identified in section H) remaining on the vehicle at point of sale shall be reported in IMDS. All service parts identified with a Jaguar Land Rover part number shall be reported in IMDS. The supplier is required to report all substances contained in the Global Automotive Declarable Substance List (GADSL) and 100% of the materials contained in the parts (both material type and weight). The supplier must report specific substances identified in this standard, even if it is not identified in GADSL.

6 7 8 9 The IMDS entries shall comply with IMDS recommendation 001.

Standard: STJLR.99.9999 Issue: 2 Date: 13 April 2011 Page: 4 of 17

Individual substances shall be reported as a percentage of the homogeneous material. This standard is revised annually. The supplier is required to update their IMDS data if a current production part or a part currently produced for service is affected by the update to the standard. An update to IMDS is required when: There is a change in mass of the component or individual materials, which exceeds 10% or 50 grams. There is a new GADSL listed substances are present in the component. There is an increase in the concentration of a substance listed on GADSL. New IMDS application code information is required. There is a change to the recycled content that exceeds 10% or 50 grams. There is a change in the polymeric parts marking. All paints, polymers, sealants, adhesives etc., shall be reported in their cured state. Directed suppliers are required to report their IMDS data to the tier 1 supplier. Tier 1 suppliers report their IMDS data to either Jaguar (IMDS ID 297) or Land Rover (IMDS ID 1472). If a part is common to both Jaguar programmes and Land Rover programmes, it shall be reported once to the IMDS account of the lead programme. Reporting of coloured parts. It is only necessary to report one variant of coloured parts in IMDS. If the supplier chooses to do this, they shall report the "worse case" colour, which contains the most prohibited/restricted substances. The IMDS submission can be made against the in-white part number (e.g. AAW suffix) or for a specific coloured suffix (e.g. AA0PUY suffix). The supplier will then be credited with having supplied all necessary information. TIMELINE REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLIANCE TO THIS STANDARD AND IMDS REPORTING For GPDS programmes, a Design Verification report shall be submitted to the responsible Jaguar Land Rover Engineer before the <FDJ> gateway, agreeing compliance to this standard and committing to a date for full IMDS disclosure. Any deviations to this standard must be detailed on this report and approved by Jaguar Land Rover Materials Engineering. Complete IMDS disclosure shall be submitted 1 month before the <PEC> gateway. Parts in current production that are not disclosed in IMDS must be reported immediately. ELECTRONIC REPORTING OF NON-DIMENSIONAL MATERIALS AND HAZARDOUS ARTICLES (GMAP-E1291) Suppliers of non-dimensional materials (e.g. paints, lubricants adhesives, sold in bulk or individually packaged and sold separately or in service kits) are subject to the restrictions of this standard, as are certain hazardous articles (such as friction materials, pyrotechnic restraints and batteries), and shall not be supplied without GMAP-e1291 approval.
