THE MONTH OF PREPARATION

Pastor Chris announced the month of April as the Month of Preparation; the month will determine what will happen in our lives in the next few months and even, years to come. He said that the Lord is preparing us for a new level in life and ministry; as individuals, groups and the ministry as a whole. God is preparing us for a new level of increased grace and ability. "This is significant because of what we will begin to accomplish both in our lives and that of others in our environment, and around the world. He instructed us to take this month seriously and to put a structure into how we are going to increase our personal study of the Word of God. He also mentioned that we will be praying at different times unlike other past months, which will result in increased revelation from the Word of God and increased ability in our lives. Pastor Chris said that by the end of the month, we would have experienced spiritual stability like never before - being steadfast and unmoveable in our walk of faith.

Pastor Uche shared further on the importance of knowing you have eternal life now and the need to acknowledge it. When you know and acknowledge the good things in you (Philemon 1:6), you are able to take full advantage of it and live life to the fullest.

Pastor Edmund declared the April Super Sunday 'A day with destiny' and so it was. The Service started off with anointed ministrations by the Choir and amazing testimonies of how the brethren have produced results with the Word. Then, Pastor Uche ministered the Word starting off with two questions: Why did Jesus come? And what did Jesus come to do? He taught that Jesus came to give a life different to the natural life. HIGHER LIFE CONFERENCE, SOUTH AFRICA

Higher Life Conference in Cape Town, South Africa kicked off on the 16th of March 2012. The Conference, which was held at the Green Point Stadium built for the 2010 World Cup Tournament, was filled to maximum capacity. The difference however was that instead of coming to watch a football game, the crowd came to hear the Word of God and bask in the Anointing of the Holy Ghost that was undeniably present in the arena. The atmosphere was saturated with great expectations and became electrified as the sound of testimonies and song ministrations filled the entire stadium. Pastor Chris was treated to a thundering applause as he took the stage and began to share the truth of God's Word. The 3-day meeting was a time of revelations and deep fellowship with the Word as Pastor shared inyour tongue rightly; by making covenant confessions. This means saying those same things that God has said about you and consistently, for by your words you will be justified (Matt. 12:37). The teachings inspired faith in the brethren and each day, astounding miracles took place. As the Anointing of God enveloped the arena, wheelchairs began to go up, deaf ears were opened, the blind saw, the sick were healed of all manner of diseases and people gave their hearts to Christ in their thousands. Indeed, the Scripture which declares that He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction (Psalm 107:20) was fulfilled. Definitely, the lives of those present and everyone they would impact have been altered gloriously, and Cape Town will never be the same again. iTESTIFY
The Word of God works!!! They that sow in tears shall reap in Joy; He that goeth forth and weepeth bearing precious seed shall doubtless come again with rejoicing bringing his sheaves with him Psalm 126:6. This scripture was my meditation and contemplation I was on a quest for another job after finishing a 5-month contract. I had a number of interviews that did not go quite well. On the 1st day of the finance convention with Pastor Chris, I got paid for a business transaction with one of my clients for services rendered. During his teaching, Pastor said You are the only one that can deliver yourself from where you are now by giving what you have. Seed your way out of lack! and Learn to sow money seed and youll receive money. He also said, Learn to give into the kingdom of God; that will secure your future. At this point, a lot of the brethren started getting up to sow their seed but I was contemplating the bills and needs surrounding me. Despite these, I stood up and went straight to ASDA in order to use the ATM. I withdrew all the money that had just been paid to me that day, came back to church and dropped it on the Altar. Within 24hrs I got a financial miracle double the amount I gave. On the second day of the Convention, I gave ALL the money again and within 24hrs I got another financial miracle again double what I gave. On the last day of the Convention, I took part of the money that I had received to pay my rent and sowed the rest. Then I heard Pastor Chris say When things become so difficult and it seems you are losing what you are supposed to have. Where is your se ed? Full Final Testimony!!! On hearing this, I was motivated deep in my heart to do more. There was no cash left in my bank acco unt, so I took out the very best my wristwatch and pair of shoes, and dropped them on the Altar. Thanks to Pastor G who gave me a pair of shoes to wear, I would have had nothing to wear home. Two weeks after the Finance Convention, I got a Fantastic Job a miracle job, the salary was more than what I specified. I was offered the role of the Web Automation Test Lead of an Organisation. Praise God!!! A few weeks later, I was given a challenging task at work for which I found no useful solution, not even on Google. One day, a friend of mine whom I have not spoken to for a while called and referred me to an organisation in America that could provide the solution. I had to pay $450 for 1-year subscription in order to access the video file on the subject. Every day, I would spend between an hour to two hours watching the video and with the knowledge gained; I was able to successfully implement the task. I received remarkable feedback, but I knew I had God to thank for the success. Praise God!!! For the April Super Sunday, I was full of expectations and took part in the 3-days dry fasting as instructed by Pastor Uche. I needed something more, something I could not easily describe other than that I had a deep hunger for God. In addition, I desired that all my invitees and everyone present would receive an impartation. To God be the glory, three of my invitees came and one of them got healed in her abdomen. Praise God!!! As if God was not through with me yet, a week ago, I had a performance review at work and the results were excellent I exceeded all my goals. Amazingly, I was told that I would be rewarded financially for this. Glory to God!!! Many thanks to Pastor Uche, Pastor Ifeoma, Pastor Edmund and all my leaders in the Haven. Your message of faith has brought me up to speed. Yes, the word sent is direct and specific. He does not perform generally. He (The Word) is specialised, specific and unambiguous. Now the news of our faith in God is out. We do not have to say anything anymore We have become the message! Praise God!!! Watch out for more!!! Bro Maxwell Nwajei In February, the Overcomers Month, I was returning from the University about 9pm and was reaching into my pocket to get my phone so as to return an earlier missed call when the Holy Ghost cautioned me to put the phone back in my pocket. Just as I did, three guys dressed in hoods emerged from my side of the road, walked right pass me and crossed to the other side of the road. As they crossed, they attacked a Chinese student when he struggled with them and stole his phone. Then, they crossed the road back to where I was standing, walked past me again, entered into their car and drove off without even looking at me. I want to thank God who causes me to walk in safety and security at all times. Sis Tolu Kazeem 6

THE HOMELESS DO REPORT

The Inner-city Missions hosted another outing of its flagship programme on Saturday the 7th of April 2012 called The Homeless Do. This event is the Outreach programme of the Inner-city Missions Department and this month we took advantage of the Easter celebrations to take the Gospel to our target group the homeless people. First of all, we are so grateful to God for the massive success of the programme. An hour and a half before the programme started, guests were already lined up outside waiting to get in. When they came in, they enjoyed the refreshments provided and also had the Gospel preached to them. We had 43 guests in attendance, out of which 21 souls gave their hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ. are assured of testimonies that will follow. The Inner-city Mission Department is one that works in the background but with hands-on approach; reaching out to the sick, the imprisoned, the hungry and the homeless in our community. The Department is made up of three teams namely Hospitals Team, Prisons Team, and Homeless & Hostels Team. We look forward to our next outing with great expectations, knowing that the glory of it will surpass that of the previous.

GET INVOLVED- IT PAYS TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS!

The March winner of the Yookos competition is the lovely Sis Nneka Alex-Onyeagwu of the Royal Priesthood PCF. As soon as the instructions were given regarding the Yookos competition, she obeyed. Heres what she did in her own words. I immediately went to work and started by signing up 100 people two days after the announcements were made. I carried this out by speaking and signing up people at work, on the streets, family & friends including those on Facebook and Twitter. I went for evangelism and followed up a number of people who came for cell meeting and Church service too. These strategies produced hundreds of names signed up on Yookos and 10 first timers. As a result of this, she won a trip to the Higher Life conference in Cape Town, SA and received revelations that are sure to upgrade her life. In closing she says This can be anyone's experience too, but first you have to be ready to make it happen by doing the work involved and remembering that God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him and the good of His kingdom. GET ACQUAINTED PROGRAM

What a refreshing time we had at our inaugural Get Acquainted Program in 2012. It was a special reception that was held for all New Converts and First Timers that have visited or joined our church from October 2011 to March 2012. Interesting, Inspiring, Informative, Great! These are some of the many comments that summarise the experiences of participants at the event. During the program, some invitees shared their life changing experiences since they joined the ministry, the love and care they have received since joining, while others talked about the impact the cell ministry has had in their lives. Pastor Uche emphasized the importance of the Cell System and shared his own experience from being a cell member to becoming a Zonal Pastor. He encouraged the attendees to get involved in ministry activities and not just be a bench warmer every week. In rounding off, he prayed with great compassion for all present and prophesied into their lives. Other activities of the day included an Exhibition which showcased the various Pastoral Care Fellowships (PCFs) and Departments in Church. The exhibition created an opportunity for the invitees to meet the various PCF Leaders, Departmental Heads/ Representatives and to have one-on-one chats or to have their questions answered by the Pastorate and Deaconry. It was wonderful to see many of the invitees sign up to join different Departments and PCFs, and particularly enrol for classes at the Membership Schools stand which was very busy on the day. If you have not yet enrolled for the classes, I enjoin you to do so today. Special thanks to all our Pastors, for giving the First-Timers Ministry the opportunity to host such a wonderful program, and also big thank you to our invitees who showed up on the day, our wonderful leaders and members of the First-Timers Ministry who worked so hard before, during and after the Program. KIDDIES CORNER
Childrens Church has become more exciting these days in Ruby Class. We are learning new things and becoming more eager to learn, as a result of the exciting and new activities designed by our teachers. In the past three weeks, we have been learning a new series titled 'God and You'. In the first week of this series, the topic we learnt was 'God loves you'. In the second week, the topic was 'God likes you'. In this past week, we moved to learning that 'God wants to help you'. In this topic, we did activities that taught us about Gods nature. We also learnt a memory verse; Psalm 46:1 which says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble". We also have had a couple of testimonies from the Children as a result of these teachings and activities.
