How to transform a billion lives in 5475 days?

The vision of a beautiful world we seek as our future is what connects us all. We
can indeed end poverty and build a happier planet within our lifetime, and that’s
the purpose of InteGreater. InteGreater will engage the best minds and hearts
across the world to transform a billion lives in 5475 days! It’s not easy, poverty
manifests itself in many complex problems, each with many interconnected
pieces. But, the truth is, together we have all that is needed - wisdom, conviction,
ideas and resources - right here on this planet to solve every problem, within our
lifetime!

What does it take to build sustainable solutions? Sustainable solutions are

possible only when our designs are based on a systemic understanding, taking
into account, the inter-relationship between the pieces and the functioning of the
system as a whole. In other words, this is possible when all stakeholders have not
only an easy access to each other, so they can share best practices, but also an
on-demand access to experts from diverse domains, so they can understand the
most optimum ways of accomplishing a certain goal.

What have we got instead? However, due to the absence of a credible platform
that connects all relevant stakeholders, what we see are two un-connected worlds,
each of which in turn is highly fragmented.

On one hand, there are millions of committed non-profits and social-

entrepreneurs around the world working tirelessly, but independently. On the
other hand, there are millions of accomplished experts in diverse domains of
knowledge, from the industry as well as the academia who wish to contribute their
expertise, skills, capabilities, and networks, that can cause a giant leap in the
efficacy, efficiency and scale of solutions.

So, what’s happening? Without access to each other and therefore to the
knowledge, expertise, resources and networks, that can potentially augment
change, there is an enormous gap between great intentions and tangible results.
Independent efforts to solve the pieces will understandably not yield significant
results at the system level. Independent efforts also build redundancies, wasting
precious resources often times, in reinventing the wheel. This means unaffordable
inefficiencies at the system level.

This is the best time, both in terms of need and possibility, to leverage the
increasingly widespread social consciousness as well as the advances in
technology to unite capable people with a purpose..

 What happens when the challenges a non-profit/social entrepreneur
needs help with, are bigger than can be asked in a question?

iCREATE is the web-based project space, where the engagement between a non-
profit and a relevant team of experts is structured, and managed.

iCREATE enables non-profits and experts to:

When a non-profit/social entrepreneur posts its challenge, the system shares

the details with all the relevant experts.

Vineet and Kalyan
After 6 years of working in Business Research
and competitive intelligence, Kalyan quit his
job early 2008 with the intent to do
something significant in the larger scheme of
things. He traveled across India for a few
months - saw places, met people , and learned
things. The experiences during the journey
helped him gain the clarity of purpose, and
refine the idea of what InteGreater is now.
He knew a little bit about what needed to be
done, when he met Vineet in Delhi, in
March’09. And Vineet knew the rest. It was as if
the two approached the same idea from one
end each and met mid-way.
Vineet did his masters in business
administration from IIM Ahmedabad, and an
advanced management program from IMD,
Switzerland. He is in a senior management
role with a multinational consumer goods
company. Over the course of his career he has
travelled to 25 countries.
InteGreater is based out of Gurgaon, India, but its mission to transform a
billion lives, has no geographical boundaries.
