Our Journey
The name Pusat Tuisyen Pesat is a common name just like any other tuition centre would have and is one in thousands of tuition centers in Malaysia. However, for the team that started it, the path to the establishment of this tuition centre was truly a memorable journey.
It all started on 11 August 2009. Our story began in 2A Lorong Bendahara 3/7, Seksyen 7, a rented house in Bandar Mahkota Cheras, Kajang. We first started operation in this house with the registered name of CRYSTAL ENGLISH HOME. We started classes for primary and secondary students teaching mainly science and mathematics. At the very beginning, with three UPSR students, we started classes and as the number grew, we hired new teachers to conduct the other subjects. By the end of 2010, we had 110 students and a work force of 7 teachers and a staff. The reason behind the massive increase in students in such short period is the enthusiastic and promising teachers we had and are still here.

Pusat Tuisyen Pesat Today
On 1 August 2010, we shifted to 2-A, Jalan Pahlawan 2/3, Seksyen 3, Bandar Mahkota Cheras, a corner shop lot. We have our very own chemical laboratory, which is also the first in Malaysia. We also use projectors and other material to enhance the teaching process to ensure optimum learning advantages. After all, our main objective is to make education crystal clear to our students.

The number of students grew tremendously but the centre can only take a maximum capacity of 140 students. The demand was overwhelming; this is when we decided to open Pesat Alam Jaya, our first branch situated at No. 5A, Alam Jaya 15, Taman Alam Jaya. We started operation around April 2011 and had not more than 40 students. By March 2010, we now have 202 students, taking both first and second floor of the building. Pusat Tuisyen Pesat now boosts a combined force of 350 students, 20 teachers and 5 staff.

Master Mind Motivations
Realizing the need to diversify, we started a seminar and motivational company, Master Mind Motivations. The purpose of this venture is to involve ourselves in seminars and motivational programs for the betterment of the students. We have marketed ourselves in Jusco and Carrefour as well as distributing flyers and banners. Our first successful seminar was a joint venture with University Pertanian Malaysia(UPM) held in UPM itself and received good remarks from both students and parents. This was a stepping-stone for us to continue organizing and conducting seminar all over Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, especially for the students who were sitting for their UPSR, PMR and SPM examinations. We receive excellent feedback for the seminar which was organized later on.

We then went into production with the dream of teaching online. We successfully managed to gather all teachers to begin shooting. By the end of the year, we planned to upload video on subtopics for all subjects taught by our very own experienced teachers. The aim of this programme is to provide primary and secondary students with free education especially for the unfortunates and students from rural areas. Students will only have to register themselves and they will have access to all these videos for free.

Kompilasi Soalan Percubaan
To strengthen or forte higher, we started to publish our own book. The idea was to reach a demand of past year trial exam papers of different states for the students to practice. Thus, our book is a compilation of past year trial exam paper complete with answers hence its name Kompilasi Our books undergo a meticulous process of preparation and evaluation. It begins at the editorial stage where our editors painstakingly go through the current national education syllabus, prescribed texts, previous year examination papers and feedback from our readers. This attention is exercised over content, writing editing, illustration and design. We believe this is the only way to ensure our books meet all of our readers needs.

Every year, for UPSR, PMR and SPM we will prepare spotted qustions or ramalan to complete the final revision. The questions we set keep coming out for the major examination. A teacher jookingly sugesated us to provide it online for a minimum cost for all to benefit. We published and shared it in facebook. In less than a year, more than 300 people across the country purchesd the book. We then realized that we dont need to open centers across the country, a good website will doPASTISKOR was borned Pasti Skor is the most comprehensive, trustworthy and affordable sets of exam tips and notes to help students prepare for the coming UPSR, PMR or SPM examinations. Our tips were proven 70% accurate after analyzing the Malaysian examination papers from the previous years.

Social Teens Magazine
Based on our survey, we found out that students and teenagers spent more time online looking for information. Therefore we felt it is important for them to have a channel that updates them with all the latest events and news in town. Since we had enough resources and funding to kick-start the project. We started socialteens.my in Nov 2012, Social Teens Magazine gathers entertaining, informative and socializing information for Malaysian Teenagers. Our aim is to connect with our readers, update them on the latest happenings in town, and provide them with exciting information to share with their friends and family. By following us, teens will be up to date with all the fun and latest happenings in town!

Sandra a/p Karuppanan is a physiology graduate and conducts counseling for various schools in Malaysia. She served the police force for 25 years and has joined the United Nation peace keeping police in Timor Leste.

Founder
Vinod a/l Vuthaya Kumar is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from Universiti Tenaga Nasional(UNITEN). He is currently the Managing Director of Pusat Tuisyen Pesat and oversees the curriculum progress. An expert in Physics and Chemistry with various learning methods make him a hit in the nationwide seminars conducted by the center. He has also tutored in The Royal Military College, SMK Amminuddin Baki, SMK Cocharine and various other tuition centers in the Klang Valley.

MagenRao a/l Krishnan is a Multimedia & Graphics Graduate from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). He has designed and developed over 50 websites from various industries since 2007. A few websites that he developed in the past are such as Federation of JPK Accredited Centers ( www.femac.org.my ), The Association of Malaysians in Western Australia ( www.amwa.org.au ), Kagumas Culinary Arts College ( www.kagumas.com.my ) and Pusat Latihan Perhotelan Azam Pandan (PLP) ( www.plpazampandan.com.my ). He developed and maintains two websites for Pusat Tuisyen Pesat, which is www.pastiskor.com.my and www.socialteens.my , these websites are over 100 pages and will continuously grow in 2013. Magen is also in charge of all design and IT related issues in our both tuition centers.
