After a long and cruel 7 months, the greatest time of the year has finally returned to us, OG Fantasy

Football. As a high stake, high talent league, OG offers up some of the finest competition ever seen in fantasy football and promises another exciting season. It was an interesting off season for the league, however. One filled with controversy and potential scandals that almost dismantled the league. As an unbiased journalist, I'm not interested in delving into these things and who is to blame (Dustin and Abel). However, sources say the league has successfully resolved these issues via mass texting and screaming in a hotel. The first week of many has come to pass and what a week it was. Thanks to Peyton Manning playing out of his ass, AD was able to start the season off very strong with an impressive 74 points between two players, eventually leading to the absolute destruction of Putter's boring Brady Bunch. According to inside sources, Calob is hoping to improve his team through trades and smart management, but the doubters are ever so present, The matchup between AC5 and vickeroo was a close one, and surprisingly enough, jonathon dwyer was not involved. Thanks to a monster Monday night performance under a new offense, shady McCoy lifted abelito to a victory over Vick, dealing him his first week one loss in over 2 seasons. When asked about the loss, Vick commented simply "Playmakers didn't make plays." Then added: "Shout out to Cruz who is on the block." Will vick finally make a trade this season? As much as we all thought Chris Ivory as an RB2 would work wonders for Dustin, he fell short to a JCAS team that is reported to be highly confident despite having two cowboys on the roster.

Although absent from the draft, and with some questionable picks, Troy was able to take down the commish thanks to a stinker by David Wilson. Sources say that Finley hasn't started to worry yet (unlike putter) thanks to the ice in his veins. When I spoke with the commissioner, he had this to say: "The beauty of fantasy football is its likeness to a marathon, you get 13 solid weeks to try and qualify for the playoffs. Sure it would be great to get off to a good start but for five of us that's just not the case. Whether that is because of Chip Kellys new offense, starting rbs fumbling issues, no shows from top ten WRs, or random 20 point performances from TEs, often times things just don't pan out in your favor. So now I will get back to what I always do, check rankings, make pickups, trades, and listen to fantasy football podcasts so that I steer clear of last place and the Sacko trophy." Wise words from a wise man who looks to be 1-1 after next week. The last and most exciting matchup of the week went to jansen and chan man, and No, it wasn't a beer drinking competition. Thanks to a rookie fumble and a poor performance from beast mode, jansen and his RB weak team came away with the win. Chan man was obviously upset with the close loss and is "so pissed" that he thinks "this loss will screw [him] over at the end of the season..." A scary thing to think about. Week 1 gave us only a glimpse of what is to be expected for this coming season, and after week 2 we'll have an even better view of what's to come. Next week brings us some exciting match ups as always, two of which are between undefeated teams. Abel hopes to stay strong against jansen and said that "[He] is confident in [his] team heading Into this matchup. Jansen has a good team I just hope mines better in week 2." Jansen's response, as usual, was a strong one. He

told me, "Abel is notorious for being a bottom feeder. Does Lebron care about guys like Jason Terry? Obviously not. A name to remember this week... Run DMC." With all this talk there's no doubt that this matchup promises to be juicy. The other 1-0 matchup between JCAS and Boy Toy Troy, is creating quite the buzz. According to JCAS, his team will take it despite the injury ankle to Dez. In fact, he expects a big game from the sex-addicted, mom beating, mall chillin' wide out. He said in an interview: "I feel very comfortable about next week. Jory has some favorable match ups that will make it competitive but there is too much star power on SBS. Dez is primed for a breakout game, I think he will get in the end zone multiple times. " Jory, being a man of very few words had this to say in response: "NOT WORRIED." However, with vereen out and Matthews as his RB2 I'm thinking he might be a little worried. Vick hopes to even out his record next week against an undefeated AD as the two powerhouses battle it out. Due to an extreme amount of humility and modesty, Andrew refused to comment much on the matchup and simply said, "Vick is known to have a good team so im hoping for the best from my players. Oh, and Mendy and Torrey on the block!" Vick, on the other hand, with mathematics, has assessed the possible risk outcome of this matchup and isn't pleased at what he think's is to come. He had this to say: "Need a win to turn this year around but it's against a formidable opponent. Tough match up." Is the older, injured roddy white(Vick) taking a back seat to the younger, more talented Julio jones(AD)? We'll find out next week.

Karrer and Chan fight to not drop to 0-2 this coming coming week. I spoke quickly to Dustin before heading into practice and he had this to say: "Chan is a heavy favorite but my guys have a lot of heart!" I then reminded him that heart doesn't win fantasy games, touchdowns do. *Breaking news of a trade just in between dustin and the commish* In attempts to round out his offense and replace heart with talent, Dustin traded new Denver Broncos WR wes welker for stud tight end jimmy graham. A move he hopes will help him in the long run as Wes is likely to lose a large share of his targets to stud wide out Demaryius Thomas. Chandler, dearly hoping for a win, isn't afraid to be blunt and is confident despite last weeks heartbreak. In a compelling interview with the coach, he told me: "DKarr has a good WR core but is weak with his RB crew. I feel like I should beat him by 15 points if Marshawn shows up to play!" Last but certainly not least, Finley and putter try to avoid going 0-2 as they battle it out next week. The commissioner's game plan is simple: "Seek and destroy." But in order to do so David Wilson has to step up to the plate and deliver, not fumble. Putter, who I was lucky to get an interview with, told me Ha I was getting my haircut. I think my teams coming out hot after being abused by Peyton. Ready to get a W. Although it is highly debated that getting a fresh fade before each week is good luck, Putter continues the tradition which ultimately shows that no, it is not good luck. Best of luck to all.
