INVESTORS VISIT TO THE MACHAKOS NEW CITY SITE Machakos Governor, Dr.

Alfred Mutua today led a group of investors from Dubais Emaar Investment International led by the CEO Mr. Fred Durie and Senior Director for Project Development International Mr. Abubakar Sidahmed accompanied by the Kenyan Ambassador to the U.A.E H.E Mohamed Gello to the site of the envisioned new city. The group was instrumental in the construction of the Burj Khalifa the worlds tallest building and the Dubai Mall; and today came to inspect the site before they can commit their money into the project. I can assure you that Machakos is a safe investment haven and there is no corruption, no backhand deals-what you see is what you get. I am impressed with the mark that you have put in the world and your money in Machakos will change the lives of the people through creation of more than ten thousand jobs for our youth. Dr. Mutua said of the group. On behalf of the investors, Mr. Durrie said that the team was carrying out preliminary investigations and were optimistic of investing in the county as it is very promising. We are carrying out a normal procedure that we always do before committing ourselves in any project and we can assure you in the near future we will here doing some work.
