ANSWER I had decided to take two shots from different compositions as below : a. Photograph 1 using the Rule Of Thirds composition and zooming the subject , the cat. b. Photograph 2 using the close up or the macro composition to capture the image of the bougainvillea flowers Photograph 1
A photograph of my cat using Rule Of Thirds composition

Using the Rule Of Thirds , I had divided my image into nine segments. I had imagined that I had 2 vertical lines and 2 horizontal lines in my images. I made sure that the most important image in my photograph was put between the lines which were intersect . So , the most important image was my cat . My cat was between the lines which were intersect . So , I had a better shot using the Rule Of Thirds .

Photograph 2
A photograph of bougainvillea flowers using close up or macro composition.

We are surrounded by fascinating subjects around us. Close up or macro composition in photography gives us the chance to get to know and become closer to these wonderful things around us. We have colorful flowers , incredible insects and birds around us. I had taken images of the bougainvillea flowers in my garden using the close up technology. This technology help me to look for details in the subject that I intend to frame. The picture of the bougainvillea flowers became bigger. I had zoomed only the flowers and left the leaves as my background. I wanted to highlight only on the bougainvillea flowers. The original size of my subject is a big vase of purple bougainvillea flowers.

The pedagogical aspect of using photography in our lessons Photography has its own strengths and contributes a lot of benefits in the process of teaching and learning. Below are some of the advantages of having photography as one of our technique in preparing our teaching materials : 1. Efficient and suitable photographs for a lesson would arouse the students interest in learning. 2. Students would be able to understand better the concept that the teacher would want to teach by looking at the photographs which represent ideas or processes. 3. Good and efficient photographs would stimulate the students mind to explore the content of the lesson and build up their intelligence.

4. Using the close up or macro composition , students would be able to have more details of a subject . So , the students would be able to understand better.

Comparing Photograph 1 with Photograph 2 Photograph 1 was a result of following the Rule of Thirds where we can evaluate the picture by looking at the most important subject which is the cat. The cat was between the intersect lines made of 2 vertical and 2 horizontal lines that had divided the image into nine segments. I also had zoomed in the cat .

Photograph 2 was a result of using the close up or macro composition. The actual subject was a big vase of bougainvillea flowers but I had close up only the flowers and left the leaves as background. So , the close up flowers look bigger than the actual size.

ANSWER A. The 2D resources in my school library are as below : 1. Charts according to subjects

2. Photographs in the Dato Onn Gallery and the History Gallery 3. Posters in Dato Onn Gallery and the History Gallery 4. Newspapers Utusan Malaysia

B. The 3D resources in my school library are as below : 1. Real objects/relia in Dato Onn Gallery such as an antique bicycle 2. Real objects / relia in the History Gallery such as the Chinese ceramics , radiogram , mortar and pestle. Do the teachers often use the media? Why do they use the media? Why dont they use the media? The media that are often being used by the teachers are charts . The teachers use the charts as their teaching materials because : 1. The charts are very handy. The teachers can carry them into their classrooms. 2. The charts contain useful information for their lessons. 3. The charts are quite big so the pupils are able to see and learn. The real objects , posters and photographs in the galleries are meant for exhibition purposes only .
