In addition to my very extensive experience in a number of fields which also relate to military 
requirements in electronics, EDP, systems and engineering, I had engineering training in the 
Royal Air Force in the UK, did a sandwich degree course at Hatfield (deHavilland/HS) worked 
with British Aerospace in London and Rolls Royce Aero­engines in Derby, as well as military 
subsystem vendors.

In Switzerland, I have worked for a number of years with companies involved in the Swiss 
government’s international procurement activities for both the army and air force including 
systems, weaponry and land and air vehicles. I was involved with the Eurocopter project. Finally, 
I have been involved in a number of aviation procurement tender translations from both French 
and German into English. Last year, I handled a 120 000 word translation in connection with the 
Russian jet tragedy over Zurich.
