Thank you for volunteering to come on our first class ski trip. We are hoping for a fabulous day at Mt Hutt. Listed below is a general overview plus your key jobs for the day! 7.00 check to see if we are going postponement line 3028904 Cancellations will also be twittered (text: follow methvenprimary to 8987) ring 3085074 ski-info line (please note even if mountain is open or on-hold, you still need to check postponement line).

7.45 arrive at school 8.00 bus departs promptly 9.00 ish arrive at Mountain Off bus - children take all gear and bags off the bus. Take the children you are responsible for to the toilet and arrange for bags to be taken to the deck under Hubers Hut. Take the children to ski hire. Assist your children to get gear the correct size, fit it and put other footwear in the box provided. Beginners do not need poles. Passes will be issued as they leave rentals. 9.20 Beginner Lessons These beginner lessons are for 1 hours. If you have volunteered to be a chaperone, MPS staff will inform you which group to go with. If you are not a chaperone, this is your chance for free skiing or coffees! Please check your watch at the start of the lesson so that you know what time they will finish. If there are only a couple of children in a group, the lesson may only last for 1 hour. This is because it is deemed the equivalent of a private lesson. Intermediate and Advanced Students will ski with parents at this time until their lesson. Please bring your students to their lesson at 10.45 for a 11am start. 11.00 - Advanced & Intermediate Lessons begin, Beginner Lessons finish. Advanced and Intermediate students to line up for their lesson at 10.45 Beginner lessons finish so please ensure you are ready to meet your students if you have beginner students. Non-lesson time You are responsible for the children listed on this sheet during this time. Feel free to have food, drinks and rests at any time during this period, depending on how your child/children are feeling. 1.45 return gear to ski hire 2.00 depart mountain 3.00 Arrive back at school (in time for buses if you want your student to come home on the school bus) So if you have any problems (big or small) please seek one of these staff members.
