ELECTRONIC GOVERNOR

YTEK YT-911 is a state-of-the-art Digital Programmable Electronic Governor used for Speed, Load and Water Level control of Mini hydroelectric turbines. GOVERNOR can be configured through software depending on the type of turbine, actuator capacity, actuator response time and type of control required. It is well suited for Kaplan turbines (both single regulated and double regulated Kaplan turbines), Francis turbines,Turgoimpulse turbines, Pelton turbines (both single jet and Twin jet) and its derivatives. YT911 also has a build in Autosynchroniser. Since the Auto Synchroniser is closely coupled with the Governor, synchronisation with the Grid can be achieved within the shortest possible time. In Auto mode the whole start-up process including synchronisation with the Grid and loading of the turbine to a pre-set value can be done with the press of a single START button. It has a powerful user interface which can be used to configure the governor to suit any demanding control requirements. YT-911 is a stand alone governor with its own user friendly man machine interface which includes four displays, 33 push button keys and 50 LED indications on the front fascia. This configuration increases the reliability of the governor because it does not depend on any other systems like PC's for command input and displays. Speed control algorithm provides fast, reliable frequency matching while eliminating overshoots and hunting. Includes smart target pulse to prevent hung scope c o n d i t i o n . T h e intelligent dual microcomputer and digital signal processor produces an anticipatory close signal to provide zero current switching for a smooth synchronizing with minimum impact on system.
