GENERAL INFORMATION: Attendance in class is very important. You are responsible for all material presented in class and for all announcements made during class. Class attendance will be counted as part of your final grade. Lab assignments will be collected on a weekly basis (Thursday). Lab assignments WILL NOT BE accepted late. Homework assignments will be collected on the due date specified typically the next class period after being assigned. Homework assignments WILL NOT BE accepted late. Anyone missing a test must notify me before the day of the test and provide a valid reason for missing a test. A make-up test will be given at a mutually agreed upon time. Students not present for a test that have not made prior arrangements will be given a zero. If you believe that you possess a disability for which a reasonable accommodation must be made, you must consult with the instructor at the close of the initial class meeting. The instructor will refer you to the Dean of Student for evaluation, documentation of your disability, and a recommendation as to the accommodation, if any, to be provided. If you do not consult with the instructor and follow up with the Office of dean of Students, as instructed above, you will thereby waive any claim to a disability and the right to any accommodation pertaining thereto.
