bueno el codigo 2557, es un problema del sensor atdc, demasiada o poca concentracion de toner en el revelador, la solucion rapida pasa

por cambiar el revelador y hacer el ajuste, de hecho en este modelo el revelador y tambor se cambian a las 100000 copias, pero siempre puedes salvar el tambor si esta bien, el proceso es el siguiente: entras a modo tecnico "utilidades/contadores" "detalles" stop 00 stop 01, te pide un password, si no lo han cambiado, de fabrica son todo ceros, entras a "counter" "special parts" pulsa "pc life" y con la tecla "C" borras el contador. Para la maquina y cambia el revelador, comprueba que no te queden restos de revelador en los extremos, ya que estos modelos tienen una pequeo fallo para mi, y es que las unidades del cajetin del revelador no duran lo suficiente y una de las razones es que al hacer el cambio del revelador tienes que ir con cuidado que no se derrame material en los ejes del rodillo magnetico, ya que en cada extremo lleba como una arandela de plastico negra, pues bien al girar si tiene restos de material se comen estas arandelas y el tambor tiene demasiado roze con el rodillo de transferencia, por lo que el cilindro se ralla. Bueno despues de este rollo, jejejeje, cuando tengas cambiado el revelador enciende la maquina y sin esperar mucho entra a modo tecnico te vas a "function" y le das al F8 la maquina iniciara el proceso de ajuste del revelador, cuando termine, paras y enciendes la maquina y listo. Importante que lo hagas por este orden, primero reseteas el contador y luego cambiar y ajustar revelador, si lo haces al reves te puede volver a salir el codigo. ok il start by saying that my english is veryyyy bad. ok so the developer is guarantied for 80000 copies but i seen 200k with a new dev. (developer type dv310) after some of the developer is lost in the copying proses the ac-dc sensor detects that theconcentration is rong and it shows the C2557 error thats wen the error is shown by the copier . solving it is simple you can replace the dev. and run F8 mode if it dosent work manually ajust the acdc to a lower value (lower value means that is les tonner in the dev. hyervalue more tonner obviously ) , 0r leave the old dev. in it and ajut theacdc to about 180 (you can ajust to 180 take out the tonner botlemake some black copies(30) and put back the tonner bottle andadjust to a lower value that works) . The problem can also apear if the copier docent supply tonner so check that first . Entering the service menu is simple pres utility > (toch screen) original size> (kepad) stop>0>0>stop>0>1 the password from the manufacturer is 00000000 , in the service menu select tech mode in ther yowl find the different start modes F8,F... , and you have printer select printer and acdc adjustment , pres C to clear the value and via keypad enter the desired value .
