Kindly note following important additions from CBSE (as per CBSE Circular CBSE/CU/143 online/2013):

1. List of Candidates (LOC) for Class X for Academic Session 2013-14 All the students in class X will be appearing in SA II as per the following approved schemes: Scheme-1: For those who do not wish to move out of the CBSE System after Class X Question Papers and Marking Scheme to be supplied by the Board and evaluation carried out by the school. Scheme-2: For those who wish to move out of the CBSE System after Class X i.e. who wish to join institutions/ schools/ Junior Colleges affiliated to Boards other than the CBSE. Question Papers and Marking Scheme to be prepared by the Board and evaluation carried out by the Board through External Examiners. The syllabus for SA2 in Class X will be based on Term- II syllabus only. Both the schemes will have same type of Question Papers in terms of design, blue print and difficulty level. At the end of Class X, all candidates (irrespective of the type of scheme) shall be issued the same Grade Sheet Cum Certificate of Performance prepared, printed and signed by the Board. 2. Improvement for Problem Solving Assessment (PSA) (exam to be held on 18th January,2013) Note that best score of class IX and X will be reflected in the final result. All those students of classes X (who appeared in PSA while studying in classes IX during the previous session) and wishes to improve performance in PSA have to get them registered for the same alongwith List of Candidates (LOC) for Class X. 3. Students Global Aptitude Index (SGAI) CBSE will conduct Students Global Aptitude Index (SGAI) exam for class X in November 2013. It is mandatory for all students to appear in this assessment. It will help students in deciding their subject choices for class XI. Details will be sent to you later. 4. 5. Please send following information regarding your ward in class X whether she/he wants to opt for Scheme 1(School Conducted SA2) or Scheme 2(Board Conducted SA2) and whether she/he wants to appear in Improvement for Problem Solving Assessment (PSA) and fees accordingly by 4th September 2013.
