Bearing Much Fruit

John 15:5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

WORD by Mukisa Emma

I thought that my bearing fruit in Christ was based on how much I struggle to serve Him. I thought that it was in the more I serve God that I bear fruits and much fruits but I found out through the Word that it is not true! You can be serving Jesus and so committed to Him and dont bear fruits! Our opening scripture gives us the answer to the question; how can I bear much fruit as Jesus said? In our opening verse, Jesus shows us how to bear much fruit. He begins by saying, I am the vine, and you are the branches. He did not say, I am the vine, try to be or you will be the branches. In other words, He wants us to realize that we are already the branches when if we are in Him! We do not have to struggle to become the branches or hope we will become sometime. He continues and says; He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruits This means that our bearing much fruit is determined by our abiding! To abide is to remain or stay. Abiding in Christ is simply being conscious every day of Christ and our position in Christ. Because we have received Christ, we are in Christ (2Corinthians 5:17) and are accepted in the Beloved. (Ephesians 1:6) God accepts us because we are in the Beloved and He is in us. And that is how God sees us today when we come into His thrown of grace. No matter what is going on around you and this world, we are called to abide in the vine. You are a branch and He is the vine! This means that your provisions and well being is through the vine! He is your source and you can do nothing without Him! You have to teach yourself by the Holy Ghost to abide in the vine irrespective of what you see! Keep the revelation of Christ and your position in Him. You are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. (Romans 8:17) What belongs to Him belongs to you legally for you are a joint heir! When you keep your focus on Christ and your position in Him, it will give you the power to change your condition and circumstances. He is the head and you are His body. (Eph 1:22-23) When you remain in Christ-conscious of your position in Him-you bear much fruit. That is the way to bear much fruit! And much fruit means that you stay winning in this world irrespective of the circumstances and your victory counts in heaven. Why? Because you are abiding in Jesus and He is in you doing the great works! Hallelujah! Just as sap flowing through the branches of a vine will cause them to bring forth fruit, His life flowing through you will bring forth a bountiful harvest of prosperity, success, healing and miracles. You only need to remain conscious of who you are in Christ!

CONFESSION
I bear much fruits in the Name of Jesus because I abide in the vine. My connection to the vine keeps me above this world and makes me a victor irrespective of what is around me. He is my source, my health, my strength, my wisdom, my life and my every thing! I am a partaker of the divine nature! Glory to God!
