Instructions

Pillow measures 14 x 14. GAUGE: 12 sts = 4; 7 rows = 5 in dc. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge. PILLOW Ch 44. Row 1 (Right Side): Dc in 4th ch from hook (counts as first and 2nd dc), dc in each ch across; turn 42 sts. Rows 2-7: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), skip first dc, dc in front loop of next 5 dc, dc in back loop of next 6 dc, [dc in front loop of next 6 dc, dc in back loop of next 6 dc] twice, dc in front loop of next 5 dc, dc in top of ch-3; turn. Row 8: Ch 2 (counts as first hdc), skip first dc, hdc in front loop of next 5 dc, hdc in back loop of next 6 dc, [hdc in front loop of next 6 dc, hdc in back loop of next 6 dc] twice, hdc in front loop of next 5 dc, hdc in top of ch-3; turn.

Rows 9-14: Ch 2, skip first hdc, hdc in front loop of next 5 hdc, hdc in back loop of next 6 hdc, [hdc in front loop of next 6 hdc, hdc in back loop of next 6 hdc] twice, hdc in front loop of next 5 hdc, hdc in top of ch-2; turn. Row 15: Ch 3, skip first hdc, dc in front loop of next 5 hdc, dc in back loop of next 6 hdc, [dc in front loop of next 6 hdc, dc in back loop of next 6 hdc] twice, dc in front loop of next 5 hdc, dc in top of ch-2; turn. Rows 16-21: Repeat Rows 2-7. Row 22: Ch 3, skip first dc, dc in front loop of each dc across, dc in top of ch-3; turn. Rows 23-42: Repeat Rows 2-21. Fasten off leaving long tail for sewing. FINISHING Fold piece in half with right sides facing in. Whipstitch 2 sides together, turn right side out. Insert pillow form and whipstitch last side closed. Weave in ends.
