Please read the entire first day handout then read through these bulleted items.

1. I know and understand that I must register for the Mastering Plus website within the first two weeks
of class and that it is 15% of my final grade in this class. 2. I know that I have a Mastering A&P assignment due at 12:00 NOON the day before each exam, which covers each tested chapter. 3. I know and understand Ms. Clantons grading scale. 4. I am aware of tentative test dates as outlined in the first day handout. 5. I know and understand that for the four exams that shown as proctored, I must make an appointment with my approved testing center in order to take these exams. 6. I understand that if I am dropped from this class for any reason, if my instructor agrees to readmit me, I will not be allowed to drop again and will receive the grade I earn. 7. I understand that the instructor has the right not to readmit me to the class if she deems necessary. 8. I understand that I am responsible for logging in to the class weekly as a way for Ms. Clanton to check my attendance, and that failure to do so will result in me being dropped from the class. 9. I understand that there are exam reviews located on Canvas for each exam. I understand that completing these reviews will be extremely beneficial in my success during this class. 10. I understand that there are no bonus points offered for this class and that Ms. Clanton does not have to offer bonus points. I also understand that whining on my behalf about extra credit will result in points being deducted from my grade. 11. I know that email is the best way to reach Ms. Clanton and that her email address is cclanton@mcc.cc.ms.us. 12. I know that in order to succeed in this class I MUST read my chapters, do my Mastering homework, spend time each day studying, and not wait until the last minute to study for exams. I realize that failure to do these things will most likely NOT result in the grade that I wish to receive in this class. 13. I understand that my grades will be posted on Canvas and that it is my responsibility to check Canvas to view my grades. 14. I know that if I fail to log in for two weeks in this class, I will be dropped from the class. I understand that I may not be readmitted to the class if this happens without a legitimate excuse for missing and not contacting the instructor in advance. 15. I have read the policy on cheating. I am aware that if I cheat in this class (including but not limited to copying someone elses work, googling answers, allowing someone else to copy my work, using electronic devices to obtain answers, etc.) then I will receive a zero for that assignment, which will not be a drop grade. I may also be dropped from the class at the instructors discretion and turned over to the Dean of Student Services. 16. I understand that Ms. Clanton does not give makeup exams. Therefore, I should be sure to have all exams completed by their due dates as listed on the FDH and Canvas. Failure to do this will result in a zero on my exam which will be extremely difficult to pull up before the end of the semester as there is no drop grade or makeup exams in this course.
