ITDM ASSIGNMENT 1 Use ITDM Assignment 1.xlsx sheet for solving following problems.

Problem 1: Darpan is an association formed by individuals interested in theater. This group organizes plays throughout year. They have 4 Auditoriums ( 1,2,3,4) each having three types of seat categories ( Gold , Silver , Platinum ) and show times as Morning, Afternoon ,and Evening . Booking data of various plays (P1 .P15) is given in sheet Play and price of seats are given in Price sheet. Use this data to answer following questions: Use Excel Functions (do not use Pivot or Filter option to answer following questions) a) Identify total revenue earned by association in 2011. b) Identify total number of bookings done for morning show of Play P15 using credit card during June. c) Identify total number of audience who booked silver category of seats to view evening show of Play P10. d) Generate a list all those transactions where play P8 was scheduled either in Audi 1 or 3 during March. e) Create a new column Rating based on following criteria: A transaction is rated A if either seat type = Platinum or Seat type = Gold and Number of seats > 5. A transaction is rated B if Seat type = Gold or Silver and Number of seats booked = 5. A transaction is rated C if it does not satisfy either of the above criteria. (2+2+2+2+2) Problem 2: Use Problem 1 Data and Pivot to answer following questions (Highlight/ write answer in sheet if required): a. Create a pivot table to display the total booking amount of Play P3 and P7 for different types of seat categories. b. What is the percentage of revenue earned by booking platinum category of seats to the total revenue earned? c. Create following groups to display total number of transactions done in each category: Total amount of booking of each transaction Number of transactions 500-2499 2500-4499 4500-6499 6500-8499 8500-10499 10500-12499 12500-14499 14500-16499 d. e. f. g. Which play was viewed by maximum number of audience during first half of the year? Which payment method is most popular for booking shows? Which show time is least popular among audience during second quarter of the year? Which auditorium is playing maximum number of evening shows? Create Pie chart to display monthly consolidated sales (value as well as %) for two years. Create radar chart to display performance of each representative for all category of products.
