Overview
The MDR-8X06 is Alcatels latest generation of digital microwave radio for long haul, point to point wireless communications. Frequencies of operation include the lower and upper 6 GHz bands used by private and common carriers in the United States and Canada. It offers customers transmission capacity for 2, 4, 8, 12 or 16 DS1, with the ability to upgrade capacity simply by changing Capacity KeysTM. Compact mechanical dimensions allow operators to place the MDR-8X06 in cramped spaces, yet without sacricing system performance and availability. This scalable and readily deployable architecture provides reliable wireless backbone communications for local exchange carriers, cellular operators, railways, pipelines, utilities, public safety agencies and private enterprise.
