held without bond in the Arapahoe County Jail. Police will remain at the crime scene for up to a few days to continue processing evidence. Previously Released on August 29, 2013 by Officer Frank Fania Aurora, Colo. Aurora Police have detained 18-year old Isabella Guzman who was wanted in connection with the homicide from last night. At about 11:30 this morning, officers were dispatched to 2851 South Parker Rd. on a report of a body inside of a car, in the parking garage of this office building. When officers arrived, they found the car but no one was inside. They did find items in the car however that led them to believe these items were related to the earlier homicide. Plain clothes officers were called in to assist and a canvass was done at the parking garage. During their canvass, additional items were found that were believed to be involved as well. A Police K-9 unit was called in and they started a search of the area. At one point, Guzman was seen by officers walking out of the garage. She was then detained and taken to headquarters. Police continue to investigate this incident. Investigators have not been able to positively identify Guzman. At this time, she is not formally being held for the homicide. Information Released Earlier Today Aurora Police are investigating a disturbance from late last night that has left one person dead.

At about 10:05 p.m., police received a call of a family disturbance in the 2600 block of South Lima St. When officers arrived, they were greeted by an adult male at the front door who told them a female was upstairs and in need of help. Officers located the female victim and it appeared she was in grave condition. Medical personnel arrived a short time later and the adult female victim was pronounced deceased inside of the house. Officers learned a second adult female had left the house prior to their arrival. Numerous officers responded to assist and they searched the area for this second female but were unable to locate her. Police are calling her a suspect in this case and are asking for the publics help in locating her. She is identified as 18-year old Isabella Guzman. She is approximately 0506 tall, about 130 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. It is unknown exactly what she was wearing when she fled. She should be considered armed and dangerous. She attached photo of Guzman. The Aurora Police Major Crime/Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigators were called out to the scene and took over the investigation. At this time, investigators are waiting for a search warrant to be signed. Once the warrant is signed, detectives and crime scene investigators will process the scene for evidence and possible clues to this incident. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroners Office once the autopsy is completed. Aurora Police are asking anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Guzman to please call 911 immediately.
