Alcatel Lucent Emirates, Etisalat Emirates. RNE. Indoor Planning Department. From 13/09/2010 up till 30/07/2011 SCOPE OF WORK: Perform As Built Report for the Indoor sites. Revision of antenna & splitter locations, schematic diagram, power budget, feeder markings, and BOQ if there were changes in the design. EIRP checking of all antennas (to be recorded using TEMS 9). Rectification of faulty antenna if there is any. Data gathering of sites for 2G {(2 typical floors & all non-typical floors, Handover, Spillage (idle & dedicated, locked & normal mode)} and 3G coverage {(1 floor for each serving RRU in typical floors, all non-typical floors, Handover, Spillage (idle & dedicated, locked & normal mode)}. HO from Indoor to Outdoor Cell should be at least 2 meters upon exit while HO from Outdoor to Indoor Cell should be at least 2 1

meters upon entry. If not met, recommend parameter changes to correct the HO issue. Indoor Cell must be the 4th best server or lower in the periphery of the building. Indoor cell should not be serving on the main road as well. If not met, recommend parameter changes to correct the Spillage issue. Taking photos of equipment and components used. Post processing of log files and prepare indoor coverage report to be discussed to ALU. Extract from NPO KPI statistics and generate report. Optimization of site if KPI was not met:
DLQ & ULQ <= 3% SDCCH Drop <= 0.3% Call Drop <= 0.3% CSSR >= 99% INC & OUT HO >= 99%

Generate full report if coverage is accepted by OPERATOR.

Responsible for 2G and 3G Indoor tests included - but not limited - Perform Indoor Simulation tests using Alcatel tool. - Perform Drive Test for the new 2G and 3G Indoor sites. - Perform analysis, and problems troubleshooting from field. - Perform reports discussing network behavior. - Indoor coverage simulation for new indoor sites, walk test, log files analysis and providing a fully acceptance report for 2G and 3G sites discussing the site behavior including coverage and quality plots and any other recommendations to resolve the site problems such as bad coverage/Quality areas- cross feeder/sector-interference-etc. Tools: - TEMS data collection TEMS Route analysis- Map info - Alcatel transmitter.
