Did you get the list John sent last week which included his list and mine? I thought the plan was that you were
going to add yours and send them out. How do you want to proceed?

Subject: Hearing Follow-up
Below is the list of hearing deliverables from my notes. Almost certainly, it is incomplete.
2. From Kerrey to Airlines: Indicated he would submit written questions, but I don't know
what he had in mind, (perhaps our questions?)
3. From Kerrey to Airlines (esp. Soliday) and subsequently to Loy: Provide info on post-
9/1 1 DOT/FAA/TSA guidance/response to airlines regarding passenger complaints/law
suits about denials of boarding rights.
4. From Kerrey to Airlines: respond to FAA rebuttal of Eleanor Hill testimony, which we
are to send them. (I guess we have to confirm its classification status: it is marked SSI and
most similar things ultimately got de-classified via the JII, but I don't think this one was
even considered.)

If you add the last two items on my list (at bottom below) to what you got from the transcript, I think
that will cover it.

ooks good. In thinking about the airlines and the situational awareness issue (for the spring hearing), I
would like for us to add (on the basis of Kerry's comment that he had some unspecified written
questions for them) the general sit. awareness question we had for them (but which wasn't used in the
hearing), It went something like:
For each of the four hijacked aircraft, when (and by what means and evidence) did you become aware
that the aircraft was: a) having some kind of problem; b) hijacked; c) being flown by the hijackers; and
d) crashed? Also, when (and by what means and evidence) did you become aware of where the aircraft
crashed?
I think this would aid the Team 8 hearing, as well as give the airlines a chance to give their own
interpretation of their sit. awareness to compare with our own best understanding (from their interviews,
transcripts and timelines).
