QUESTION???

I need help on how to tackle RX Diversity faults from RBS 2111 config 4/4/4 beca use it clears and then it comes back.what other procedure can i use so that it c lears for good?. 8 avril 2011 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------ANSWERS !! * How you can configurate 444 on 2111 when in the OMT (and their capacity) is ma x 222? * Do you have configuration Master/Slave? * Do you have connected 2 feeders (TX/RX) in each sector or only one (TX)? * Do you use diplexer? * RX Diversity Lost and RX Path Imbalance alarm normally appear after 45min or 2 hs. If you need to test if the alarm will appear without to wait 2hs, you need t o down the time in "monitoring" RX Diversity (Mantenaince/Monitor/Rx Diversity) in the OMT. Pay attention: If you have connected only one feeder in the RBS, in BSC, you need to configurat e RXD=A. If use diplexer, test the signal (without diplexer) on every freq and then set i n OMT diplexer=YES. If use M/S configuration, check that free cross feeder. if the RX Diversity Lost are on sector 2 or 2&3, Im shure the problem is in BSC c onfiguration. Chances are that the BSC guy configurated 2+2+2 with 2TRXs space, instead of 2+2+2 without intermediate space. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------ANSWERS !!! Hi Zineddine When you need to integrate a 2106/2206 as 222, normally the BSC guy integrate 22 2 with the following configuration: TRXs # 0&1 (sector 1) / # 4&5 (sector 2) / # 8&9 (sector 3). The physical hardware configuration (on RBS) can be with or wit hout space becouse the relation is between cables connection and OMT configurati on. In a 2111, the physical configuration is fixed and only it has capacity to 6TRXs , so, you need to configurate in BSC with TRXs from #0 to #5 (0&1--S1, 2&3--S2, 4&5--S3). This configuration is fixed on OMT and BSC. If the BSC guy did the configuration as 6102, the sectors 2 (and may be S3 too) will appear RX Diversity Lost. Always talking BSC data transcrip, for M/S configuration, you need to configurat e 2 TG (one with TF=M, and other with TF=S) for each RBS 2111, with 6 TRXs (TRXs from #0 to #5) each TG, with 2 TRXs each sector.
