MENTAL DISORDER/ILLNESS
MENTAL DISODER : A generic terms to describe various mental illnesses - eg. mood disorder, psychotic disorder, anxiety disorder MENTAL ILLNESS when referring to a specific illness with a diagnosis - eg. bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, OCD, schizophrenia, general anxiety disorder, panic disorder

Mental illness : a condition that interferes with your thought process (perception, interpretation, judgement), emotions and behavior
causes distress and disability, or

interferes with daily living, and relationships.
