Office Reorganization: The office for Parish Secretary/Bookkeeper/DRE Diane Black is now in the space to the right of the outside entrance and Deacon Carl and Laura Zoeller, YM, will share the office on the left side. Fr. Dale and the staff would like to thank the Jan Kehne, LaVielle Cecil, Walter Grubb and Jim Pusey, who helped with the move. The 40th annual Rosary Celebration will be held on Sunday, September 8, at 3:00 PM, at Nelson County High School. Fr. Anthony Stephens of the Fathers of Mercy will be the guest speaker. Wedding Anniversary Mass: Couples celebrating 30, 40, 50, 60 & 60-plus years of marriage in 2013 are invited, along with their families, to a Mass of Thanksgiving, celebrated by Archbishop Joseph Kurtz, on Sunday, September 29th at 2 PM at the Cathedral of the Assumption. Register with Diane Black in the Parish Office by September 15th. Monthly Potluck Brunch: The decision was made to suspend the monthly potluck brunches for the summer, or indefinitely, as we look to make some changes. Contact Diane Black in the Parish Office, if you have any questions. Immigration Reform: One of the best ways to keep up with the immigration reform issue (and other issues of concern to the Church) is to become a Faithful Citizen Advocate through the Catholic Conference of Kentucky. Faithful citizens receive regular email alerts about a variety of issues and are invited to communicate with elected officials through very user-friendly formats. Go to www.ccky.org and follow the link in the Welcome message. Join the U.S. Catholic bishops in advancing immigration reform by talking with Kentucky's members of Congress, especially in the House Representatives Whitfield, Guthrie, Yarmuth, Massie, Rogers, and Barr and urge them to fix this broken system. See resources about immigration reform at www.ccky.org and www.archlou.org/immigration-reform. Rediscover Your Marriage Retrouvaille (pronounced retro-vi with a long i) simply means 'rediscovery'. The program offers the chance to rediscover yourself, your spouse, and a loving relationship in your marriage. Tens of 1000's headed for divorce have successfully saved their marriages by attending. For confidential information about, or to register for, the September program beginning with a weekend on Sept 20-22, 2013 call 502-479-3329 or email: 3012@retrouvaille.org or visit the web site at www.HelpOurMarriage.com RCIA Inquiry: Please pray for those who are inquiring, as well as the RCIA team members.
