Public Relations Intern Review Board,

Selecting the correct media catalyst is critical to the success of any organization, company or individual. Owning and operating a Public Relations firm with emphasis placed on minority entrepreneurs, is the light at the end of the tunnel for this Public Relations and Social Media practitioner. Getting information out to the public can be a time consuming task, with the required long hours and strict time commitments. Deciding upon which media channel is ideal for disseminating information specific for varied clientele can prove to be even more challenging lacking the proper analytical methodology and application methods. Providing up to date, cutting edge industry performance is the cornerstone of my mission. Completion of a rigorous undergraduate psychology curriculum has prepared me to not only perform academically, but interact with persons of diverse backgrounds and laid a foundation of understanding behavior and the mental process. Since the start of 2013, I have actively sought to increase my presence on blogs, media boards and taken on several internship opportunities around the Tennessee Valley working with radio stations, nonprofit organizations and my University. Participation in the aforementioned has prepared me to excel within the graduate school realm. The internship opportunities as well as the independent work I have completed has provided me with practice using multi-dimensional media, interacting with unique publics and most importantly hands-on field experience. Receiving my Masters of Art in Communication with a concentration in Journalism will not only expand my knowledge of the ever expanding Media field, but my rolodex of connections as well. In this highly competitive industry the saying who you know still holds true today Selecting the ideal candidate can be a difficult task; understandably, you want the best representation of your University and its image. My superiors commonly have used words such as dedicated, self starting, ambitious, and detail- oriented as adjectives to describe work ethic. If selected to join this program, I can ensure the utmost display of professionalism, eagerness to learn and most of all gratitude. I have enclosed a copy of my resume` for your review and would like to thank you for your consideration of my possibly filling the void within your organization.

Respectfully, Stephen T. Hale
