Japanese Language School

Since 1984

Teaching Japanese Comes to us Naturally... After all, we are the oldest Japanese language teaching school in Bangalore. In our twenty-five years of existence, while our competitors were either trend watchers or trend followers, we have been trendsetters in adopting the latest techniques that best suited the need of Indian students. The Japanese Language School (JLS) established in 1984, and is the first organized Japanese language institute in Bangalore. The basic and advanced programmes of the school were put together by the late H. Ganesh, a Japanese teacher; Japan expert and educator of great repute. It was his idea to develop a Japanese language syllabus exclusively for the Indian student, using Indian language fundamentals. As he had noted, Japanese, fortunately, is not the worlds most difficult language, especially for an Indian. The myth about its complexity may be attributed to the Japanese themselves, who find it rather difficult to learn foreign languages..... With Japanese, the pronunciation is relatively easy, and the grammar is akin to that of most Indian languages. But what makes Japanese apparently complicated is that, As a language, its vocabulary is naturally different from any Indian / European language. JLS has been serving the Indian industry, students and general public for 25 years, and his trained over 15000 individuals in south India (mainly Bangalore). In this capacity JLS can take justifiable pride in playing a vital role in bringing India and Japan closer. THE COURSES JLS courses are designed to meet the fundamental objectives of learning this language, namely to obtain the vocabulary and grammar of Japanese, to comprehend Japanese, to communicate in day-to-day social situations, to demonstrate ones interest in Japan her culture, people and life, and to make business contacts and friends. The faculty of JLS has been trained to guide the student to understand important Japanese customs and behavioral norms, both on business and social fronts. 1. Conversational Courses
