Sociobiology is a field of scientific study which is based on the assumption that social behavior has resulted from evolution and attempts to explain and examine social behavior within that context. Sociological Imagination is the application of imaginative thought to the asking and answering of sociological questions. Sociology is the scientific study of human social behavior and its origins, development, organizations, and institutions. A subculture is a group of people within a culture that differentiates themselves from the larger culture to which they belong. A symbol is an object that represents, stands for, or suggests an idea, belief, action, or material entity. A taboo is a vehement prohibition of an action based on the belief that such behavior is either too sacred or too accursed for ordinary individuals to undertake, under threat of supernatural punishment.
