Writing Practice
We are going to keep writing the letters in our writing books, and those who finished their books, will write the phonic words in the notebooks between lines.

Sightwords We are going to learn to recognise the words: has, have, look, book. We are also going to start a weekly competition, where the students should practise their phonic skills to decipher the unknown word.

Parent Follow Up / Useful Websites / Homework:

Dear Parents. From this week on, we are going to crank up the pace regarding reading and writing. We are going to pay attention to words and to be able to write them and recognise them. This is going to take a lot of practise and if you want to help your child, you can always practise reading and writing our new vocabulary. Writing the words with a picture in a notebook. I also found a nice spelling game on a tablet called, Amazing First Words. This game includes a lot of vocabulary and spelling, which can be great for practising.
