Studio Policies 2013-2014 My Responsibilities

I will do my best to treat every student as an individual, providing a positive, fun and enthusiastic atmosphere for learning.

Student & Family Responsibilities

Students agree to arrive at each lesson punctually, well-prepared, and with their assignment books and music. Each student is expected to purchase their own music books. To make good progress, these books need to be brought immediately to lessons after being thus assigned and daily quality practice is necessary. I want you to completely understand every assignment; please ask questions. If something is happening at home or school that is affecting your child please let me know. Please err on the side of letting me know more so I can be sensitive to the needs of your child. All students are encouraged to play at two recitals we have each year: Fall and Spring.

Tuition
Lessons are offered in 30 minute ($20 per lesson), 45 minute ($30 per lesson), or 60 minute ($40 per lesson) segments. Tuition is due on the first lesson of the month for the entire month. A $5 late fee will be charged for all late payments. Tuition may be paid in two options: Full Semester ($10 discount for weekly students and a $5 discount for bi-weekly) o Semesters are offered in 16 week blocks st Monthly (Due the 1 lesson of each month)

24 hr. Cancellation Policy

A make-up lesson may be offered on a case-by-case basis for those needing to reschedule or cancel-- a 24 hrs. notice is required. If the teacher is not notified in sufficient time or the teacher is not able to make up the lesson, it will be forfeited and payment is expected. When the teacher needs to cancel a refund or make-up lesson will always be given.
