Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam Application

The next Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at AUC. Registration for the FE exam is comprised of two steps:
1. Registration at AUC

1.1 Register at AUC and fill in an FE application form. 1.2 Submit all the requested supporting documents, as follows:
a) An original detailed transcript (no copies accepted) b) A copy of your national ID card c) Engineering syndicate ID copy (if available)

1.3 Pay the FE exam fees of $670 or LE 4,000 Registration may be completed online after submitting the required documents. The deadline to register for the exam is August 29, 2013.
2. Registration at the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES)

After registering at AUC, all examinees are required to register online at www.ncees.org/exams beginning on June 17, 2013. The deadline for registration on the NCEES website is September 5, 2013. Registration is not possible after this date. Failing to register online at NCEES or registering with different information than that recorded at AUC will prevent the examinee from taking the exam. Preparation for the FE Exam Engineering and Science Services (ESS) offers the materials needed for FE exam preparation. In addition, a website that provides presentations as well as links to useful websites is also available. All examinees can log in to this website using their AUC ID number for both the username and password fields through http://blackboard.aucegypt.edu. Withdrawal from the FE Exam The deadline to register for the exam is August 29, 2013. Withdrawal from the FE exam is subject to the following conditions: Deadline Before August 29, 2013 Before September 6, 2013 After September 6, 2013 Withdrawal Refund 70 percent of fees 50 percent of fees No refund

Examinees who have postponed the FE exam are not entitled to apply for a refund in subsequent exam runs.
