It was a
HOME FOLKS VISIT HERE real thrill to have Gene's parents visit the
field in
November.
Of course, to have the home folks come was a treat not only
for the rest of the fandly as well. The Five Points
Church, Marshall, Illinois, where they arrend, have been regular sup
porters during the 8 years we have been on the mission field. For this reason it was a double thrill knowing another supporting church would
get a first hand report of the work.
Also Teresa Cerecerez, our Bible Student at Colegio Biblico was here over the Thanksgiving vacation. She came with Mr. & Mrs, Ralph
Gilmer of the Mexican field, Mrs. Gilmer is Ernest Walden's mother.
We always enjoy their short stays with us. Wayne & Martha Elba H^es of Central Mexico visited for two days in November. Now Freeman Bump,
a recruit to Central Mexico is working with us for three weeks. We are
enjoying his stay and his help. We trust this will be a blessing and
a help to him in the preparation for serving Christ in Central Mexico,
Flash - as we go to press
In another part of this bulletin you have seen the article about the Morgan home. Still further and more encouraging word comes from
the holders of the second note. This note is approximately for $2000, and as we said draws interest at the rate of 6^. These fine gentlemen
have made this proposition to us,,.if we can and do retire this note before September I96O they will donate $liOO.to CHRISTIAN EVANGELISM IN
MEXICO. Now we feel this is really something to work for. Please pray and consider this project where your money may be invested for your
Lord and Now this tinue to certain where $1,00 in every $5 will be re-invested in the same field. is what we would have you do. First, general funds MUST con come in. Secondly, we would suggest this plan. Set aside a amount marked "MORQAJI HOME PROJECT". This may be sent to us
in a luTip amount or you may prefer to pledge $1, $5, or $10 - or any amount - monthly for 6 or 8 months or one year. But whatever you do do it NCWl that this $2000. note be retired and the mission receive a 20^
return. Mail this portion to us proTi^jtly.

of the "Morgan home project". It is understood that if for any reason I am unable to fulfill this pledge a short note of explanation will be
sufficient to relieve me of this obligation.
$25.00 per month for 1 year can retire this note, Uchurches pledging
1 year can do the same. Or 200 persons pledging $1.00 per month can
retire it. Won't you help TODAY?
Please let us repeat,,.This is most urgent and the sooner we begin the easier it will be to retire the note. Eight churches pledging
$25.00 per month for 1 year and 20 groups pledging $5,00 per month for

Church of Christ,
and-the Rock River Christian Service Camp,in Northern 111, had trememdous effects on their lives. When they came back home both of them expressed the desire to become Chr istians. \\nien we asked why they wanted to become Christ ians they answered, "there was nothing to stop the eunic from becoming a Christian when he believed that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of the living God, and we do believe Jesus is the Son of God." They were baptized a few weeks
ago at a small negro church here in El Paso,
We sincerely pray that their lives will be examples to them around them. We realize they are young, but as some one so aptly put it, "When you become a Christian when jou are young, it.is like putting a flower in a larger pot, so it will have room to grow,f. Pray with us for God's contin ual watch-care over the^mias they take the milk of the gos pel which will soon enable them to feed upon the meat of the Gospel, and mature into strong healthy Christians.
