Commencing April 2003, initial contract calls for application of approx. 35,000 sq. meters of XYPEX Concentrate Mud Slurry at base of basement slab as primary waterproofing. Also included in this contract is application of XYPEX Concentrate and Modified Two Coat system to external face of retaining walls.

A single slurry coat application will be applied under topping and levelling screeds on reinforced concrete roofdecks

The XYPEX Concentrate Mud Slurry is sprayed down through and over the top level of steel, onto the bottom layer of steel and the lean concrete casting site base.

A total of four new underpasses have been built to facilitate one -way traffic low through busy intersections along the outer ring road servicing this huge new motor vehicle production facility, located approx 90 km north of Kuala Lumpur. The 4 meter width structures are designed for small vehicles and motor cycles. The pavement slabs have been constructed with XYPEX Concentrate Mud Slurry applied during casting, whilst the retaining walls and roof slabs were treated externally with a XYPEX Concentrate & Modified Two-Coat application.

Project includes a five star hotel plus retail and commercial development. The sub-structure waterproofing contract (now current May 2003) calls for application of approx. 30,000 sq. meters of XYPEX Concentrate Mud Slurry to basement slabs, plus XYPEX Tow-Coat system to retaining walls. Further contracts for superstructure works now being negotiated.

Mutiara Damansara Project,

Slightly visible in background is the Tesco Damansara, Selangor Damansara Project, in which XYPEX Concentrate and Modified were applied as the XYPEX Two-Coat System to waterproof all water storage tanks. This is the third and latest Tesco site to be similarly treated.
