The Evening Associates are a group of Art Institute members, mainly young professionals, who gather once a month to enjoy a lively mix of art and entertainment. Evening Associates enjoy exclusive museum gatherings, gallery walks, black-tie affairs, and other after-five events throughout Chicago, reveling in the citys vibrant art and social scene. Evening Associates membership is only $30 in addition to any level of Art Institute of Chicago membership. Join us for our Annual Art Walk as we discover over 20 unique boutiques and art galleries in Bucktown and Wicker Park. Tickets include the walk, exclusive discounts, gift bag, and the post-party (appetizers, beer, mixed drinks, and wine).

Learn how the museum cares for master drawings on view in Drawings in Dialogue: Old Masters through Modern exhibition. Highlighting more than 150 drawings promised or given to the museum by Dorothy Braude Edinburg, the works in the exhibition date from the 1450s1950s including sheets by Edgar Degas, Henri Matisse, and Pablo Picasso.

Help support the Art Institute of Chicago and celebrate in the most spectacular fashion! ashion Show starts 7:30 p.m. at the Legendary Chicago Theatre, 175 N. State F Street. Chicago architect Douglas Garofalo reveals his compelling design process through computer animations, diagrams, plans, and analog models for singlefamily homes, institutional buildings, and urban-scale designs.
Art Escapes are educational events with a social twist. Enjoy a drink or two and then participate in an up-close and personal look at the museums exhibitions or permanent collection. Art Escapes are free for Evening Associates, $10 for Art Institute members and groups, $15 for the general public. Tickets include an educational program and light appetizers. Cocktail reception starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Trading Room. Tours start at 6:30 p.m.
