Masts, Derricks & Drilling Accessories for the Worldwide Petroleum Industry
A Record Of Leadership
Today, WCI provides the worldwide petroleum industry with drilling equipment solutions and engineering from corporate headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Modern test assembly and shipping facilities at the nearby Port of Catoosa ensure ease of shipment by land or sea. In addition to our sales offices located in Houston, WCI has a fabrication facility in Liberty, Texas. WCI employees are some of the most experienced in the industry, applying the background, knowledge and engineering advancements with years of services.
Standard Derricks
WCI builds a wide range of derricks for use on fixed platform drilling rigs.
Dynamic Derricks
WCI Dynamic Derricks resist the hull motion of semi-submersibles, drill ships and jack-ups under tow. Dynamic derricks are also provided to resist seismic induced loads on offshore platforms. All types of motion compensators, power swivels and pipe-racking systems are accommodated.

Mast Designs
WCI designs and manufactures a variety of masts for both onshore and offshore applications. Each one is built to demanding industry specifications. In addition, WCI designs and fabricates special application masts to fit any need. Many of the top quality masts designed by LCM are still in use 30, 40, even 50 years after being put into service. Some WCI masts have been used to drill conventional wells to depths in excess of 30,000 ft. Permanent records are maintained on each mast, and WCI is able to supply technical information, furnish replacement parts, and provide expert field service whenever and wherever its needed.
Bootstrap Masts
The Bootstrap Mast features mast sections, which are inserted into the bottom section of the mast and hydraulically raised to working position.
Butterfly Masts
Featuring the patented folding mast section, the Butterfly Mast is specially designed for highway transportation and expedient rig-up.
Cantilever Masts
First introduced more than 60 years ago, the Cantilever Mast is designed to be installed on a box-on-box style or self-erecting substructure.
Hi-Floor Masts
Hi-Floor Masts utilizes a special cantilever design, which carries its own floor. The Hi-Floor Mast design provides clearance beneath the rotary beams for various wellhead and blowout preventor configurations. The Hi-Floor Mast is an alternative to the box-on-box style of substructure and is lighter and easier to transport.
Industrial Sheaves
WCI Sheaves, using roller bearings, are designed and fabricated to quality standards that meet API Specification 8C.
