Suppression steals every cheerful moment of life

By: Dr. Maqsood Hasni

Translated by: Prof Imran Khalid
Suppression steals every cheerful moment of life and is very dangerous for the
coming days of life. Suppression is the autumn of peace and rest. Man has
sentimental relationship with religion and ideology. In the matter of religion,
especially the spread of religion by force leaves effect for the centuries. It
might be beneficial temporarily but the reaction, occurred with a little opening
in this suppression, is not less fetal for the mind and soul than a cluster bomb.
Muslims ruled over India for centuries. The proportion of negative impact was
least but great was the love from the non-Muslims. Relationships developed and
fondness increased. The psychological weakness of us; the people of the sub-
continent, is that we don’t let our hero remain a human. We made him an angel like
creation. Ignoring the character of that person, we just respect because of his
title. We prove him the beholder of all the qualities even if he haven’t any of
those. Even thought this is not right. Where there is no justice, there is no
peace. Injustice and peace can’t prevail together, these are the worst enemies of
each other. Among many other reasons for the fall of Muslim rule in India, one is
the role of Aurangzeb Alamgir. His ineligibility and so-called Islamization
invited the downfall. Suppression doesn’t work in the matter of religion. Religion
works with hearts. If heart doesn’t accept something, it can’t have deep roots.
Religion is not something which can work with personal likes and dislikes. The
person mentioned tried to enforce his own perception of Islam. The shadows of that
forceful enforcement still don’t leave us. Muslims don’t permit to point a finger
on him or his character because he was a muslim ruler. These people find qualities
of his rule which might haven’t known to him and not to his age. The question
arises:
1- Whether the condition were to able to prevail a peculiar type Islam?
2- Whether the Muslims were in majority?
3- Whether the Muslims used to earn more than the Muslims:
4- Whether the non-Muslims were backward socially or militarily that ‘Jizya’ were
imposed on them?
5- This was the land of gods. Was it possible that the people quit using rings
with pictures immediately:
6- The explanation of ‘Shariyat’ by Molvi, Pundit or Priest might be true
but only the practical sufis were the successful here. Why these emperors made
the lives difficult for the spiritual leaders.
7- Was India an Islamic country?
This land proved to be hell for the spiritual leaders. What was the crime of the
respected Sufi Guru Gobind Sahib? The Alamgiri history is unable to answer this
question. Truth is always a truth and there is no evil in accepting the truth. He
was the supporter of the respected Sufi Dara Shakoh, What was his crime other than
this? The respected Sufi Gobind Sahib came to the respected Sufi Syed Wajih-ud-
Din/Syed Badar-ud-Din commonly known as Peer Budhu Shah Sahib who was the ‘gadi-
nasheen’ of Dargah Shah Abdul Wahab. The respected Sufi Syed Wajih-ud-Din/Syed
Badar-ud-Din commonly known as Peer Budhu Shah Sahib helped him for only one
purpose. Religion and Spiritualism are just like; two banks of a river go along
each other but they never meet. Sufi is never out of Shariya and a person who is
out of Shariya or infidel of the Shariya he can’t be a Sufi. The religious leader
remains on Shariya but doesn’t accept ‘Tariqat’.
Sufi/Darwesh/Bhagat/Peer/Faqeer ruled over the hearts while the religious leaders
remained unable to rule even over the bodies. One is the rose and other is the
stone. Hazrat Sheikh Sufi Syed Ali Hajveri commonly known as Data Ganj Baksh has
left this world centuries ago but he still rule the hearts of the people. Has ever
Aurangzeb ruled any heart during or after his reign? I don’t have any link or
interest in politics. I have spent all my life sitting in a corner and this is
much dear to me than the prison of the politics. My problem is that I become
restless on the blood shedding of humans. I become worried on seeing 7 years old
child holding a tray in his hand to collect some flour. I can’t bear a 10 years
old child selling hot eggs in the streets, in late nights of winter. I have
nothing to do with their religion, color, creed, race, nationality, area etc.
I am saying with full responsibility that we can’t expect good from fat-bellies of
politics or the religion. All the fat-bellies of the religion are the councilors
of the rulers. I believe that only Sufi/Bhagat/Darvash/Faqeer/Huru/Allah lok can
save humanity, only he can teach love, patience and faith to the humans. The
respected Pope John Paul hasn’t become dumb, The meaningfulness of the respected
Dalae Lama is still prevailing. Only the true ‘bhagats’ of Hazrat Guru Nanak can
save the lives and honor of the humans. These people still rule over the hearts.
They have the platform of UNO where the ‘Fakhr-e-insaniyat’ Sufi, Allama Shah
Izzat Ma'ab Dr. Mohammad Nur-ul-Alam is present for their help. I humbly request
the spiritual leaders to save humans in this world as well as guide them for the
next life.
