2007-2009 Account Supervisor, Porter Novelli for Microsoft Latin America– Mexico City, Mexico
PR Lead for Windows Client, Information Worker and Mobile Communication business groups. I’m in charge of
the implementation and development of PR plans and communication strategies, partner engagements as well
as the pan-regional management of these initiatives.
Main achievements:
 AWARDS: 2nd World Wide place at PR Awards - Best Digital Campaign category by Microsoft - 2008
 In charge of the creation and execution of the Web 2.0 PR plan, moving forward traditional media outreach
directly to the key audiences.
 Creation and management of Windows Vista communication plan for Latin America, aligning business
priorities with communication needs in the middle of international media criticism.
 Last Mobile World Congress 09, we achieved 65% share of voice from total regional media coverage
thanks to our planning and tactics. WW share of voice was 36%.
 Successful achievement of the PR metrics at the end of FY08, surpassing in 50% the original goal.

2006-2007 Account Executive, Porter Novelli for Microsoft Mexico – Mexico City, Mexico – 15 months
I was in charge of the creation and management of the communication strategies to improve Microsoft’s
corporate reputation. Dealing with academic, government and industry elites, my role was to intelligently
influence them.
Main achievements:
 Reaching 70% of the success stories objective at the end of half 1, and surpassing the metrics at the end
of the fiscal year.
 Logistics and relation management in events with government and educational institutions, driving great
coverage aligned to business and perception goals.
 National press launch of Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007, achieving great consumer momentum
in media for these products.
 Involvement in the media arrangements for the visit of Bill Gates to Mexico City.

Account Executive, Porter Novelli for Pfizer Mexico


As part of the PR team in charge of EXUBERA’s (inhaled insulin) media launch in the Mexican market, I was
involved in the creation of media opportunities to improve general awareness about diabetes, as well as Pfizer’s
role in the successful treatment of this disease.
Main achievements:
 As project leader, I was able to demonstrate my capabilities of planning and coordinating a PR multi-task
project right from the start, creating awareness for Pfizer’s new treatment for diabetes.
 As the result of EXUBERA’s press conference in Mexico City, our national press launch achieved 24
million pounds in ad equivalence. This surpassed in 30% the original goal.

Main achievements:
 Creation and diffusion of corporate culture messages for 135 thousand employees.
 Creation of the communication strategies and tools for HR department.
