AUGUST 2013

NEW LOGO AND GUILD SHIRTS

Now that we have an official logo! We debated getting the logo embroidered; silk screened, or an iron on transfer. We have decided to keep researching the most cost effective measure. Guild members to requested to buy their shirts now so we would have them ready to be printed at a later date. It was recommended to get a white or light colored solid color polo or t-shirt. More details to follow.

COLD WATER KNIT A LO NG

Our 1st KAL (Knit on Along) was started Sunday, July 14th. It is a PERFECT beginner Lace Pattern learning Lace Overs and decreases. Our goal will be 15 rows per week. We will be done with the shawl in 36 weeks, around mid-February, unless you plan on shortening it or making it even longer. There are several versions of this pattern found in the Raverly KAL forum. This is also lace which is much slower then doing ribbing or stockinette. Everyone is busy and I do not want to cause stress for anyone on reaching these goals. You do not have to do 15 rows per week, you can do 0 or you can do 30, it really doesnt matter, knitting is supposed to be fun! Its about enjoying the journey and the finished object. :) Tamara Goff
