Class Features
All of the following are class features
of the Genjutsu shinobi.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Genjutsu
Shinobi are proficient with the kunai, shuriken, giant shuriken and sai.
genjutsu shinobi are not proficient with any armor.
Defenses bonus: A genjutsu shinobi is highly trained at dodging blows, and they have a
sixth sense that lets them avoid even unanticipanted attacks. When wearing no armor or
light armor and unencumbered, the genjutsu shinobi gain a +1 bonus to defense like the
other classes. This bonus increase by 1 for every 3 genjutsu shinobi levels thereafter ( +2
at 3th, +3 at 6th, +4 at 9th level, +5 at 12th level, +6 at 15th level and +7 at 18th level).
Genjutsu specialist: At 1st level, a Genjutsu shinobi have an affinity with Genjutsu. Every
Genjutsu chakra cost is reduced by 1.
Trapfinding: Genjutsu Shinobi can use the search skill to locate traps when the task has a
Difficulty Class higher than 20. Finding a nonchakra enhanced trap has a DC of at least
10, or higher if it is well hidden. Finding a chakra enhance trap has a DC of 25 + the
level of the jutsu used to create it. Genjutsu shinobi can use the Disable Device skill to
disarm chakra enhanced traps. A chakra enhanced trap generally has a DC of 25 + the
level of the jutsu used to create it. A Genjutsu shinobi who beats a trap’s DC by 10 or
more with a Disable Device check can study a trap, figure out how it works, and bypass it
(with his squad) without disarming it.
Chakra bonus : At 4th level, a Genjutsu shinobi gain 2 extra point of chakras. Each time
he receive a chakra bonus class features it gain the double for the following chakra bonus
bonus.
Sneak atk : At 5th level, If a Genjutsu shinobi can catch an opponent when he is unable
to defend himself effectively from his attack, he
can strike a vital spot for extra damage. The Genjutsu shinobi attack deals extra damage
any time his target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to Defenses (whether the target
actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the Genjutsu shinobi flanks his target. This
extra damage is 1d6 at 5th level. Should the Genjutsu shinobi score a critical hit with a
sneak attack, this extra damage is not multiplied. Ranged attacks can count as sneak
attacks only if the target is within 30 feet. With a kunai or an unarmed strike, a Genjutsu
shinobi can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead
of lethal damage. He cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal
damage in a sneak attack, not even with the usual –4 penalty. The Genjutsu shinobi must
be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach
such a spot. A Genjutsu shinobi cannot sneak attack while striking a creature with
concealment or striking the limbs of a creature whose vitals are beyond reach.
Improved Evasion : At 9th level, a Genjutsu shinobi evasion ability improves. He still
takes no damage on a successful Reflex saving throw against attacks, but henceforth he
takes only half damage on a failed save. A helpless Genjutsu shinobi does not gain the
benefit of improved evasion.
